We liked everything. It suited our needs perfectly.

We absolutely loved staying at Ocean Bay. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The property was blissfully peaceful; instead of the hustle and bustle one finds at hotels, this place was lovely and calm. We arrived at dinner time and pre-ordered a meal, which was the best bobotie we have eaten to date...It was so great to be able to arrive, eat and head straight to our room after an evening flight. Location-wise, we were literally around the corner from Pearson High School, where our tournament was taking place. The whole neighbourhood is quiet and well maintained (generally safe, in SA terms). Also very central to great shopping centers, to the beach and restaurants...Everything you could need is close by. And about 8- 10 mins from the airport....We won't hesitate to return.

I think they could elevate the breakfast. A variety of coffee choices would definitely be desirable! Possibly offer avocado etc. That said the fruit and yoghurt with nuts and honey is simply delicious.

The rooms are spacious and have their own terrace which looks towards the pool area. Bathrooms are big and shower is great. The staff were very friendly. And breakfast was varied and all good.

I cannot write anything negative about the place, it is truly a stunning location and very pleasant for a quiet getaway and solo travellers.

It was a quiet part of Summerstrand, secure and private. The facilities were stunning, homely environment and staff that was available but not intrusive. Stunning place, and thoughtful room design with plugs in all the right places!

Did the price you paid match the expectations you had when you booked? - with regard to this one it would be beneficial on the website if the host can indicate which rooms has a bath and which ones have showers ( when I booked I wanted a room with a bath but was given one with the shower - I am not complaining it's just I would have really loved the bath tub) - Also if possible please offer no breakfast options as well (I only realised when I got there that it was B&B)

The serenity of my room and the fact that I could walk right into the pool (well it was cold and I could not really go in - but it was a plus - and also the outdoor patio(very beautiful and peaceful)

The location is near the beach but the area is extremely quiet - a lot of villas with high security fences.
