the venue itself is beautiful, and the rooms spacious and beautifully decorated. the various lounges and decks make the stay unforgettable. breakfast was served on deck in a relaxed pace. three options were provided and our choices were tasty and more than ample.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well cared for. The sea view from my room was absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the sound of the waves and that stunning vista each morning was a true highlight. The breakfast served each day was delicious and beautifully presented, the perfect start to every day. The room was extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The decor throughout the homestay is exquisite — a perfect blend of elegance and island charm. There aren’t many places like Nakai. From the moment you step through the door, it just feels different—in the best way. The house itself is full of character, with art and artefacts from all over the world that give it a really unique vibe. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into how the space is laid out. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a place you want to be. What really struck me is how comfortable and relaxed everything feels. It’s the kind of place where you can instantly unwind, like you’ve stepped into a home rather than a hotel. The rooms are spacious and super comfortable. Grant, Karen and the rest of the staff, are a big part of what makes Nakai so special. They’re incredibly warm and truly want you to have a great time. You really feel taken care of. Breakfasts are a highlight—healthy, delicious, and just the right way to start the day. You can spend hours just soaking in the scenery and the unmatched view of the ocean from the deck. There’s also a private beach right down from the house, part of a conservancy, which feels like a bonus. It’s quiet, peaceful, and a perfect place to unwind. Overall, Nakai just has this special, laid-back charm that’s hard to put into words.

The view breath taking amazing ocean view very Godly beautiful & demure…We were nicely welcomed ,served nice Italian breakfast though would suggest cereal smooth to with smoothie..

The place always beautiful but I feel has slight deteriorated from the first time went 2years ago….& The DOGS kept in the house just feel very awkward ,they r no danger/harm I understand ,but not all of us like being around dogs especially if you on holiday..Owners can they all consider long mirror be In clear space.

It was an amazing stay, we will definitely come again and I can only recommend this great place. The interior is incredible, made with so much love, and the hosts make you feel like home. The breakfast is one of the best i've ever had and the view from the rooms is stunning. It is like a little secret asian place in South africa. The walk through the jungle to the beach is an adventure.

Absolutely nothing was irritating or upsetting. Even the stairs, which could be a challenge for older people like us, were easily managed and often assisted by the hosts with cheerful and friendly conversation.

Everything you wish for on a vacation was provided with a smile and engaging conversation by the hosts. From the late check-in to the early check-out and the personal breakfast service were all provided with the same hospitality and friendly support. The rooms are superb and spotlessly clean with a spectacular uninterrupted view over the sub-tropical conservancy and the Indian Ocean. The TV channels and Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. The dogs were just as friendly as their owners, the hosts.
