Our gorgeous cottage "Bubbles" was set in amongst trees with exquisite views of the mountains. The cottage was comfortable with an air conditioning unit, hot blankets and wifi. Andy and Penny were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed delicious meals in their restaurant prepared and served by their exceptional staff. We were sad to leave.

There was honestly nothing I didn’t like, but I think the staff could probably have explained more how the breakfast worked. The cottage we stayed in was a rustic style with kitchen (great!) which was very cute, especially the old oven (for decor) but I would suggest updating the couches/armchairs.

Highlights: The outside spa treatments with real birds chirping instead of “spa music” The little garden of our cottage with braai and plenty of outside seating. The general prettiness of the property - really such a relaxing atmosphere. You can’t believe you are just outside Ladismith. Very nice baby crib and very comfy beds/bedding

We had a very special weekend at Mymering. Its location is unique - situated in a beautiful valley looking onto Towerkop. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and friendly. Our cottage was comfortable and very well appointed. Our host and hostess were delightful and made our stay really memorable. We so enjoyed the informative walk with our host (together with dogs) through the extensive vineyards in the morning. Would definitely recommend a stay at this peaceful guest farm

Nothing major. Restaurant menus a big tatty as were the notes in the rooms. Light outside bedroom kept the room light during the night.

What a fantastic place! The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. There are two outdoor sitting areas as well. The hosts were fabulous - and so was the wine. The views from the estate are stupendous. Our only regret was that we had not booked for several nights.

Absolutely wonderful, breathtaking and beautiful. The photos do not do the estate and the room justice. Truly magical experience. The 3 course meal was delicious and the wine tasting was affordable, fun and complimented by views and wonderful company. Leonie was so fun and friendly, making our experience even better. Penny and Andy were amazing hosts with awesome suggestions and incredibly warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to be back!

There were a few hiccups with cleanliness (braai wasn't cleaned on arrival, some plastic rubbish around the garden). The breakfast is way too expensive for what you get. Kitchen is unsure about what a Hollandaise for the eggs benedict is, first day no hollandaise at all, second day sth unidentifiable, pale white. Also dinner in our understanding was a bit expensive for the both quality and quantity, but there are not many alternaitves in Ladismith, other than having a braai at your own cottage (which is a very valid alternative).

Extremely welcoming staff and exceptional facilities. Our cabin was fantastic, the private pool was perfect and the view amazing. The owners were so welcoming and took us on a private tour of the vineyard. Our outdoor massages were phenomenal and super serene. The food set menu was delicious and they were very accommodating with our dietary requirements. We will definitely be back, thank you for having us.

Originally had booked for just a night, and ended up staying as long as we could. The welcome was so large. We felt like family. The restaurant (meals are decided daily) produces really delicious home-style food. Even better to have Hillock wine with the food. It also comes from the farm. Breakfasts were excellent. Stayed in Towerkop cottage. It was super spacious with views out to the northern mountains. The private pool, and little Karoo garden were great to sit next to throughout the day. Wonderful shower and comfy bed. The outside spa area is definitely worth a visit for a massage. You can walk around the vineyards. The selection of grapes grown is quite astounding. Maybe the owner’s two dogs can show you the way.

Vegan meals need a little imagination. Today plant based eating is not a fashion it is a norm and should be readily available on menus.

We had rainy weather and had to walk 100meters to the dining area. Umbrellas were provided however.

Our hosts were delightful to speak with at length. The outdoor veranda was a wonderful space for both breakfast and dinner. Dinner was excellent! The grounds are secluded and beautifully nestled in the foothills of nearby mountains. Our room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated.

Beautiful location with plenty of walking with our dog. The staff were helpful, professional and friendly. Evening meals were delicious, we will be trying out a couple of the ideas ourselves.

The toilet was too small for someone who is over 6ft in length.

Stayed in Mae West, perfectly situated to lie on the deck next to splash pool and look out onto the mountains. Had clear skies in the evening which made stargazing absolutely spectacular. Unit has small fridge and pod coffee machine which was not listed on Booking.com, had I known this I would have brought along some coffee pods.

Possibly one of the most stunning locations we’ve ever stayed in-an absolute gem in every respect! Wonderful hosts , fabulous food, and excellent staff! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and feel privileged to have had the opportunity to visit this gorgeous place! Thank you Andy and Penny !
