The location and facilities at the resort are amazing! There is so much to do for a family with young children! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The cottage was very clean and cosy and had a well stocked kitchen. The view from the Willow cottage was this fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!

Wifi was limited to 1 gig for the entire stay for 6 people,which was used up very quickly. Proper lighting or outside lights should be considered for the pathway leading down to the reception from the mountain view Cottages

It was exactly as in the pictures Everything was perfect, we had a decent amount of utensils, towels etc. We absolutely loved the fireplace which kept us warm. Staff were very friendly.

I understand check in was at 3 but we arrived at 2pm with a baby, and we were not allowed to go to our room yet. It would have been nice to get the keys a little earlier so we could settle our child. But overall - a good stay and we enjoyed our time there.

We had a lovely stay, our cottage was beautiful and clean and had great views. The staff were all very friendly.

The property has an infestation of flies. When initially entered the property, there were lots of flies and we had to buy doom to kills these pests. But even with keeping all doors and windows closed all of the time, there were still files in the property. The beds were uncomfortable. The head board in the main bedroom is loose and keeps making noises when you are trying to sleep. The second sliding door does not open. There is also ants inside the property.

The accommodation was neat and clean, easy access to the various facilities within the resort. The covered porche with dinning table and braai area was convenient. The heated pool located close to the property was nice .

The heated pool could be made bigger and the road coming up to the cottage needs a bit of improvement.

Stunning views, loved the layout of the cottage and that the cottage was so spacious. Loved that there was a heated pool was right at our door step.

Beds were too soft or highly used in the main bedroom. The destroyed Chalet next to unit 505, was an eyesore and detracted us negatively daily. It's improper concealment was not ideal. It changed and affected our minds and holiday spirits daily. It was unfortunate for us. I hope Drakensberg Gardens resort, responds appropriately.

Kids were a little disappointed that a family near us had been allowed so many board games and each time they went to get we were told we can’t hire after 5pm (even after phoning to confirm we are coming down) or there wasn’t any. Maybe a limit per a family should be introduced so everyone can have a chance.

We stayed in unit 505 we loved the play area and pool right at our door step. Staff were so friendly. A lot of different activities to try. Adventure park zip line is a must for all!

We requested our Jacuzzi pool to be drained and refilled as it contained a lot of bugs, the maintenance crew only used a net to pick up the bugs and debris. Would appreciate if they took our request more serious. The roads had a lot of potholes despite being a private facility
