Absolutely magical location, nestled in the treetops with a magnificent view over the valley towards the mountains. 'Fly me to the Moon' cottage is charming and rustic, and has everything you need for comfort and an enjoyable stay. Even though our stay was in mid-winter the wood-burning stove is very efficient so it was warm and cosy. It's a place to rest and recharge. Loved listening to the birds and gazing at the stars.

Amazing! Tucked away in the forest. Carol was very helpful and kind and Petronella and Elijah were superstars! Love the new look and all the details. It looks absolutely stunning! Thank you...until next time.

An unforgettable stay at Moonshine Whiskey Creek! We had an absolutely wonderful time at Moonshine Whiskey Creek. Nestled in the heart of nature, this beautiful spot is the perfect mix of rustic charm and cozy comfort. The setting is peaceful and lush — ideal for relaxing and reconnecting with nature. Carol and Petronella were amazing hosts. They made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived, and their warmth and friendliness added a special touch to our stay. You can really tell they care about the place and their guests. The cabin was charming, clean, and thoughtfully put together — cozy in every sense of the word. Whether you’re sipping a morning coffee on the deck or stargazing at night, it’s hard not to fall in love with this place. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind, explore, and enjoy a slice of tranquility in South Africa. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a beautiful, romantic 2 night stay. My only regret is that it wasn’t cold enough to have a fire going inside that

Traffic noise but it’s wonderful that you can’t see any cars.

The cabin on stilts was cozy and charming and the braai area with fairy lights was beautiful. Linens, towels, and robes were lovely. It’s a beautiful setting within the forest.

If you are afraid of wilderness it might be not for you. If feels like sleeping in a jungle. Some bugs and insects may show up in in the cabin but nothing harmful. There should be a better net installed around the bed and window because bugs can easily get in there.

The cabin was located in the forest and felt really wild. There were a few hiking trails you can take just from the cabin. We did not expect that some of the would be so wild but we loved it. We didn't have neighbors nearby so it felt really private. The location was convenient, only 15 min driving from Plettenberg Bay. Nearby there are a few sanctuaries with animals worth visiting. Outside of the cabin we had a fire pit. We had a bonfire one night. It was unforgettable.

We had such a beautiful and comfortable stay—truly a hidden gem set in nature. The accommodation was cosy, especially with the fireplace, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We were pleasantly surprised to find electric blankets too, which made the chilly night so much more comfortable. It was lovely in every way, and we’ll definitely be back again!

A lovely house in the trees, with a view. Quiet, cosy, stylish and comfortable. Great veranda to sit out on, and eat or read. Very convenient for the beautiful Garden Route. We wish we could have stayed longer. All the houses on the property are well separated from each other and not overlooked.

Beautiful accommodation nicely situated in the Crags close to all the animal attractions. We stayed in the Vervet suit which was beautifully decorated and had a lovely balcony overlooking the forest with a lounge suite, table and gas braai. The kids loved the built in bunk beds. Absolutely loved our stay there.

Tucked away in the mountains, Moonshine on Whiskey Creek is a true gem. The setting is stunning with charming cabins that offer all the comforts of home, and then some. If you love nature, the peaceful forest trail leading to the waterfall and lake is a highlight as well as a stunning pool and play area for the littlies. The views are spectacular, making it hard to leave the porch. The hosts were top class, thoughtful and attentive, even checking ahead of time with perfect directions. To top it off the bed was incredibly comfy and wifi exemplary. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Pack light! The walk down to the cabin (and back up) with luggage is significant.

Totally my fault, I know, but it wasn't in Nature's Valley, as we had planned. Therefore, our activities were limited to the hiking trail on the property. The only other complaint I have is that the property is close to the N2, so you hear vehicles at the cottage.

The cottage was well equipped and very neat. The view of the valley through the trees was incredible. There was also a cute braai area with string lights and two chairs (I wish we packed some meat). There is also a pool and an awesome hike down to a waterfall.
