I absolutely love Moolmanshoek! Beautiful people, incredible horses, super comfy rooms and delicious food!! The farm itself is an amazing representation of God's creation. Definitely one of our favorite places to visit and unwind.

Nothing. Just potholes from Bethlehem were quite a lot.

I loved the country rugged look of the place. Very welcoming staff. The food was really good. The horse riding was amazing. Clean facilities and the views of the mountains surrounding the property are breathtaking💫.

Nothing at all.. every aspect exceeded our expectations

Moolmanshoek is a little piece of exceptional Eden in the Free State.. We enjoyed our stay to such a degree that we intend returning in March already. The old school sincere hospitality and truly touching nature of the staff was incredible.

If you are not a rider, facilities are limited - but this being said it means you can just relax and rest or go for a walk. I think a new swimming pool area near the lodge would add lots to the experience

This is an incredibly special place. You are welcomed onto the farm and into a family who has been on the land for generations. The scenery and riding is just spectacular. The staff, service and food was all just incredible

The road, not of Moolmanshoek, but the National road. It is being fixed though, so I cannot wait to go back when it is finish.

The beautiful mountains, the friendly people, the wonderful food, Vrystaatse gasvryheid, like I remember when I was young. I am looking forward going back to do some sightseeing.

Nothing! Maybe a more detailed explanation of activities could be useful, as not everything is listed: for example detailed maps of the hiking trails, and possibilities of doing longer horse trails to see more game.

Excellent hospitality and food! The horses are wonderful and sure-footed. We did not want to leave ☺️

The road to Moolmanshoek is really bad!!! But once you are there you are glad you went. Let us hope and trust the roads will be fixed this year!! It is a must go place.

The whole experience and the game drive was exceptional and so informative!!!!!!!!!!!! Learned a lot!

Going to Moolmanshoek is like entering a secluded wonder world where beautiful horses wander around and the scenery is just breathtaking. It is the perfect place for a quiet weekend away where one is spoiled with amazing food and wonderful service. Do remember to book the picnic - it is a magical experience for a couple or family!

It does become a bit pricey with everything added up, as you can’t really go anywhere else once you are there; it is worth it though!

Abolutely nothing, everything was perfect. It would be a bit difficult for physical disabled persons to get along, but not impossible.

We felt special since the moment we arrived. The host greeted us at the car as we parked. It was my mom's birthday weekend and Mafie and her team went out of their way to make it really special. The weekend was in the heart of winter, but we had a fireplace in the room which they lit for us. With underfloor heating and an electric blanket we did not sleep cold at all. Breakfast and dinner was well prepared and presented, and delicious as well. Just loved the breakfast choices! We went for short walks, as well as a ride on the horse cart. We are not riders, but the horses are absolutely stunning. It is the perfect setting for just about anything. Absolutely recommend Moolmanshoek, you won't be disappointed. And the whole team can take credit for making this such an unforgettable experience.

Would have appreciated TV in room. Having a small fridge and freezer in room will really make a difference as we had groceries to preserve.

Location beautiful. Scenic drive was amazing. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Room pretty, welcoming and comfortable. Staff/family were very friendly and helpful. Library great. Can highly recommend.
