The place is clean and the staff was warm welcoming and the food was amazing. I would like to thank the staff, chef and Lindsay for organizing a special birthday dinner for my Fiance and the cake was delicious. Thank u so much will definitely come back again.

Montusi is my perfect hotel/lodge. Magnificent views over the mountains, cosy rooms, excellent food, pleasant staff, well marked hiking trails- it all makes for a totally relaxing stay.

Breakfast was divine. So was dinner. A more than decent wine list. Super friendly and helpfull staff. A small vonvenience shop. Even have ice. Requested bigger wine glasses for room. Done in a flash.

Having a cat within the dining hall/reception area- we all have different allergies, likes and dislikes- it would have been more nicer knowing that the doesn't stay at the top of the bar- so could not enjoy those facilities- we mostly had room service

The property is situated in the most amazing grounds with spectacular views of the mountains. Grounds were immaculate and the lodge exceptionally clean. The evening meal was excellent and there was a great variety of food at breakfast too. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Loved the walks on the property grounds too.

Unsurpassable views of the Northern Drakensberg in meticulous surroundings. Friendly professional service with probably the best food in the Drakensberg! The owners are hands on, with the friendly dogs adding a personal touch. Very close proximity to the Royal Natal National Park.

The Montusi Mountain Lodge is really beautiful. The lodge is beautifully located and elegantly designed. We enjoyed the scenic view so much. The bungalows are well maintained. It was really cozy in there. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast & dinner was the best we have had in ZA so far. We wish, we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely gorgeous lush setting looking out to Drakensberg. Beautiful spacious accommodation. Food choices were perfect and taken in the restaurant overlooking the countryside. Nice pool to relax by and many activities to do on site and in area. Efficient happy staff.

Montusi is very well-looked after and everything is quite pristine! Much care is invested in both property, and guests. Our garden suite was spacious, we lacked for nothing, and we had more than enough privacy from our neighbours. Many thoughtful touches in the rooms such as umbrella's, filter coffee, pool baskets, flowers. The linen was great and the rooms were perfectly clean and fresh. We used Montusi as a place to rest, and it was the ideal place for unwinding. The pool area is really beautiful. And the food and service was pretty perfect too. I used the Spa a few times, and although the spa menu is quite simple, the treatments were first-class! A great place to stay!
