The road leading to the guest house. Not ideal for small cars. And it's a bit steep for walking. Don't leave food items on the counter, Ants will sure have a feast on them.

It is a great location. Walking distance to the centre. Close to a hiking trail. It is calming. Perfect if you want a quiet place to unwind and relax. It's clean and it is beautiful, If you are into antiques. And you are guaranteed comfort. And the host made sure You are comfortable. Attends to You immediately. Plus there is Netflix!! Didn't expect that.

The methods to get fireplace working with minimal smoke in the room, Rian did give us a work around but too much effort and takes away from the essence of having the fireplace working There were a lot of ants that found their way into the sink / bin and the main table below the TV,

Fantastic place, host Riaan was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Quiet place, we were able to move around as we please and other guests were'nt loud

Downstairs was veryyy cold if we may suggest the owner could add an aircon downstairs in the kitchen area...and also the fact that there was no tv was very disappointing especially for the kids

The shower needed a deep cleaning, but otherwise, the place was very clean.

It was a very peaceful, next to hiking trails with beautiful scenery. Even though the property is shared with other people, the Jukebox felt very private. It was very neat and very comfortable, will definitely visit again.

The sink and faucet in the bathroom need an upgrade. The size of the sink was too small. The hair dryer in one of the rooms was busted, and the hot air wasn't coming out properly.

If a fully equipped kitchen is provide,d, space should be sufficient to actually use it comfortably.

Riaan is a wonderful host . The accommodation was tastefully furnished and spacious excet for the kitchen area. The inside/outside fireplace and braai was fabulous and we spent much of our time sitting there, The scenery is spectacular from the accommodation unit.

there was only an electrical stove....a gas stove , just a 1 plate cadac would be amazing. loadshedding was terrible and at very inconvient times. i know it is not mont rouge's fault, but still, would be that extra mile that would have made the facility 10 out of 10

The caretaker welcomed us and gave a choice of the different rooms available. the bedding and bed was super comfortable. the location and views were amazing the caretaker supplied us with boiling water from a gas stove when loadshedding was on so we can have coffee - must have coffee ;-)

Unfortunately, we had a lot of load-shedding, so a generator or solar would suffice. The shower was unfortunately dirty along the sides and under the shower door. The bath towels felt like paper, and weren't very comfy. In winter, I can imagine the unit getting very cold with no power for a heater etc...

Unit was very well situated at the foot of a beautiful mountain range. Warm welcome from the host, cosy little unit which was perfect for a couple for two nights. The bed was very cosy and warm.
