Good place for a weekend break to Parys. Close walk to all shops and next door to O's. Interesting small splash pool to cool down on hot days. Rose was very friendly and helpful.

There was no fan in our bedroom, very noisy on the street side and there were 3 people in 1 room with 4 beds and only 2 towels were given.

The water in the wash basin did not run out...blockage of some sort. I have missed a socket/plug near a mirror for my hair dryer.

Parys has water shedding, which we were not aware of, so the property ran out of water at some point. The towels didn't fit properly for everyone, so they should cater for plus sizes. The pool is more of a jacuzzi (FYI) The main gate was not locked, which is a bit of security risk as we were all ladies and were a bit worried about safety. There were no bath foams (for that stunning bsth) or toilet spray 🤔

Very comfortable beds, the place was clean and tidy. The host was very friendly, and the staff took care of our needs in terms of extra glasses and dessert bowls.

They supply a kettle, water, fridge and microwave and I think they usually supply coffee (Ricoffy), sugar, and powdered milk, but the jars were empty when we got there, except for a little sugar and a tiny bit of coffee left. It wasn't a big issue, we just went out and bought milk, coffee etc for personal use.

The room was really nice and the bed was comfortable. We loved the decor and the look! It's private and well looked after. Rose allowed us to check in a little earlier, which helped a lot. Everything is close by!

Linen very good quality nice rooms..staff friendly host did keep me informed where to get the keys and location...will recommend it and stay there again it was my second time ...good value for money

I had requested a self catering unit from booking.com Mirabel is not geared up for self catering. While there is a kitchen, it is for common use with permission of the owners. I consider a self catering unit to have a private kitchen, which is what I wanted. This is more an oversight on the part of booking.com than Mirabel.

The attitude of the owner. I feel she should have refunded our money yet she blamed booking.com. for allocating the wrong room and said we have to contact booking.com for our money - yet she has the money!!! all I can say is don't ever consider this place!!!!!

Nothing!!!!!@ We booked and paid for a room outside with a patio which we have stayed in before but when we got there were shown a room that was inside the house - dark and dirty!!!! Would never consider sleeping there.

The host did not inform her lady on duty that we had booked, had no Knowledge of our booking, the room allocated was not ready and was small. The shower did not work properly and dissapointed that Booking.com took payment before our arrival as this is not what I understood as per the booking web portal on this guesthouse.

WiFi was limited to a small area and did not allow connectivity in the rooms we were booked into. As a family this was a necessity. No meals were discussed or arranged with us.Utensils had to be requested noting this establishment was found under self catering. Toilet did not flush properly in 1 room and the other leaked through the night. Loadshedding schedule was sent to us AFTER we had experienced it TV did not switch off with the remote

Comfy bed Maria was super friendly and helpful Safe parking BUT extremely narrow for a bakkie. Hot water was available when required
