The entire set up was excellent. The property had all the stuff , so it was a home away from home . The fire places and electric blankets made a comfortable stay. The peace and calm was a wow. Wish I could stay longer

Nothing about the host and place per say but, the cellular reception is not great and only Vodacom was available for service. But the hosts had wifi which catered for when we were indoors for our data needs.

This was the ideal getaway for my birdthday and Mother's day as well. Awesome hosts and also beautiful views. Peace and quiet of the area. The outside hot tub was a bonus and the host let us use it. All in all the place, had everything and was well stocked. The information given and helpfulness in settling us in was well appreciated.

We had a really wonderful stay at Oakvlei farm. Carol and her staff were very friendly and welcoming. The directions were clear, and we had no trouble finding the place. They have thought of every convenience necessary to make your stay enjoyable, and the place is incredibly peaceful. A real piece of heaven and a perfect escape from the real world for a while. We also had a K9 visitor named Rosie,, who was extremely friendly and enjoyed playing with our kids. Finally, the housekeeping service provided by Phili was the cherry on the cake! We would definitely love to visit again.

We were at Oak vlei house , 7 people 2 from JHB and 5 from Belgium include a 2 1/2 yrs kid + a dog , 4 rooms 2 bathroom +1 extra toilet , huge kitchen with all facility you can imagine , 2 lounge TV if you need , Wifi . Staff was cleaning after our breakfast etc...and was very discret.

This cottage was fabulous. We loved the homely feel and it was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed and so much more. There were numerous welcoming touches and 2 wonderful fireplaces, with plenty of comfortable seating. It has an enormous kitchen, several fridges, comfortable beds, lots of pillows and towels. The well tended gardens frame the relaxing view out over the farmlands.

We could not of asked for a better stay it was wonderful

Oakvlei was an absolutely amazing cottage. Such a beautiful big well fenced garden even for smaller dogs and a great family game of touch rugby. The house was beautifully furnished with wall heaters and electric blankets in each room. The main bedroom is so beautiful with its own fire place apart from a lovely big main fire place in the main lounge. We enjoyed watching rugby in the 2nd lounge with a TV. Huge country kitchen which was so well stocked with utilities. A added bonus was a coffee station off the lounge, lots of fridges and freezers made a group stay easy. Our kids loved the table tennis table. We visited the farm dams and Carol gave us a great tour of the diary. Would highly recommend this amazing place, perfect for a family/dog friendly holiday.

We liked everything

We were really pleased with our stay at the Oakvlei Farm house. Extremely clean room. We loved the contemporary design, modern and with all the facilities needed. I enjoyed my stay here thoroughly and I don't have anything to report back on!

I loved everything from the welcome to the homemade rusks to the farm fresh milk to the helpful directions for walks with my dogs. There was a generator which was super helpful too.
