We had a wonderful weekend at Milk Thistle. What a lovely place! Everything we needed was there and the decor was stunning. The room was clean, comfortable and smelled so good. It was only a short distance from everything and we had a fabulous time, exploring Paternoster and surrounds. The hosts, Colin and Joan, were really lovely people and friendly. Highly recommendable.

Lovely light and airy apartment above our host's separate accommodation. A lot of care with furnishing and providing facilities for self-catering although spoilt for choice with local restaurants. Charming & friendly hosts from whom we collected keys. Colin showed us the apartment & made sure we had everything we needed. Would love to go back!

There was no TV - not a train smash but one night we just wanted to chill at home. When we booked, according to the pictures we thought we had the unit upstairs - but it was overall very comfortable for me and my sister.

It was very clean and pretty. Furnishing was stylish and unit very cleverly set up. Was close to everything and we really enjoyed staying there.

This little studio under the roof is absolutely stunning and even more beautiful than on the pictures. The town is quiet, the beds are comfortable and we had the best night of sleep on our journey so far. The lovely hosts even supply a long bucket list with nice things to do in town and were so kind to help us out with medication when we had a little emergency. I'd give 11 out of 10 if possible.

Their warmth, hospitality and friendliness was way beyond what we expected. The house that we were in was private, homely and inviting. 3. Always nice to step in, and feel you are at a home away from home. 4. The beds were snug and warm and the throws a real treat! We went in the middle of Cape summer – Dec 24. What amazing panoramic views from our private balcony! 5. The stunning décor inside and outside the house - makes for good vibrations on entry into the premises. Lush and green outside. 6. Fully serviced studio, with many nautical nods to the seaside. Hosts Colin & Joan on site to both welcome and see us off, and make suggestions for a Monday when Paternoster usually takes the night off!

A really eell equipped studio flat with everything we needed.Colin and Joan was super hosts who were welcoming and warm.The flat is clean and has a sweet little outside area with a braai.It was very close to the village centre and a short walk to the beach.

Had a microwave, but not an oven (but hosts were very nice to help us out in their kitchen). An idea might be to have a microwave / air fryer unit (takes the same space as the existing microwave)

Clean, private room with all amenities. Very nice balcony and braai that was also private. Very Secure. We could walk to beach as well as some of the restaurants. Friendly and very helpful hosts. Cooked a pre made oven meal for us, that we had bought.

Collin and Joan were very warm and welcoming. The accommodation was well appointed, meticulously clean and tastefully decorated. One can clearly see the thought and effort they put into it. Collin and Joan are genuinely wonderful people and that energy permeates the accommodation. This was a last minute booking and it exceeded my expectations. I wish more people book and see it for themselves.
