The breakfast was fantastic. The Middelwater Farm hotel is a relaxing, warm and modern hotel that provides excellent service to its guests. Our host Mariël was energetic and her food was incredible. We look forward to visiting the Hotel again. It is a luxury place to stay when exploring South Africa or visiting places near Bloemfontein. This is one of the best Hotels I have ever stayed at. In the room, a small bowl or plate to put teabags and teaspoons on would be great. A mirror in the bedroom area would be appreciated. No complaints at all.

Dinner was excellent, we were served a very tasty Bobotie. The breakfast was delicious, especially the venison boerewors. Staff were very friendly, we enjoyed our stay. Mariel is a wonderful hostess. We booked the twin room as the double room was not available. The venue is very secure.

This is a very cute botique hotel in the country. Situated on a farm - its great to walk around the grounds and go for a swim in the farm dam. We loved our overnight stay while travelling to the coast. The host is incredible and wants to make sure every need is taken care of. Definitely worth the experience - particularly for an overnight stay if travelling through.

Nothing much, perhaps a better showerhead - it was a little sporadic so I did not feel warm after the shower, especially as the weather was really cold!

Very hospitable Mariel made us feel welcome even before we arrived. It was cold and the room was warm on arrival. Lovely breakfast. They have a restaurant on the property where we had a good meal and watched the rugby! It was a good experience to be with passionate Vrystad rugby supporters.
