How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The place is fine but the problem is I did not have an open gate remote, bcs I wanted to go out but I did not want to irritate the staff for opening and closing the gate for me

They put us in the back room that is used for the employer,storage room. They say because we pay when we arrive but my take is they called me to confirm that I am still coming 😔

The tv didnt have a remote, you had to get up to change the channels, shower didn't have a shower glass water was spilling all over the floor, they didnt have any toiletries or shower towels

They gave me rooms i did not book and charged me extra for the ones they gave The host was very rude, unprofessional she served us while in her messy pyjamas and complained to is about using the facilities like the communal kitchen and fridge to store our beverages

No window in the rooms, had to sleep with door slightly opened for air and bear with the traffic noise on the main road. It was a very hot night although a fan was kindly provided.
Bed very comfortable, host very friendly and helpful and accommodating us as we arrived much later than expected. Bathroom was clean and very spacious.

The gate needs to be automated. It feels unsafe to have to get out of the car, open the gate and go back inside. Especially in an area that one is not familiar with. I was also disappointed in the price change on the room when I arrived. But overall it was an average place.
The bed was comfortable and the shower is nice and big.

Probably the only thing that stumped me was the lack of those small items that people take for granted. I anticipated that being on Booking.com, those small items would have been there and I would have paid a bit more had they asked me if I wanted them. Coffee and kettle with milk, I enjoy and anticipate, as with a towel and soap.
As a place to sleep with shower and bed, it was good. I had to ask for a towel, there are two cups for coffee although there are no coffee sachets or a kettle. No soaps. Peter staff man was good and helpful

The fact that kettle, cups are provided but no tea,coffee and milk.I had asked about breakfast and at least could have been advise to bring something for that

my bed was not made, my towels weren’t changed the following day, the room was basically not cleaned on the second day there was a kettle for coffee but no coffee or sugar
the bed was good and the electric blanket really did help

House/rooms renovation incomplete. No working lights in bedroom, although a battery operated light was provided. No private bathroom as listed. No coffee/tea provided.

Busy renovating. Still busy furnishing rooms. No bedside tables or carpets. No hanging facility for towels or toilet paper. No shower curtains. No coffee, milk and sugar, but kettle and cups was available.
Beautifull beds with great mattress. Rooms were clean and neat.

Arrived after receiving confirmation of our booking and a days traveling, just to be advised by pajama clad staff that they were full. Their alternate accommodation was some distance away and in the City Center. As we leave early and have distance to cover the next day, travel with costly cargo, tools and equipment, and wanted to be in a secure and safe environment, within easy travel to the highway. Opted to find alternate secure accommodation in the immediate area.
Good location, close to N1 highway and restaurants.

We have to wait for the staff to open the gate for us which could be more easier for us if you make remote gates. The place is exceptional but the problem is the gates. Only if you can create gates with pin code or remote. I thank you

It was good except for the misunderstanding of the rooms not being cleaned because we didn't leave the keys we thought they have spares when we home back we're not clean because we didn't leave the keys
