Only disappointment was the dipping pool on our terrace is no longer in use due to previous flooding but still advertised online as available but main pool was in action and lovely.

Really friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful clean rooms with lots of thoughtful touches like insect repellent. Very generous and helpful team who made sure we had a fantastic time.

You have to know that this is a smaller reserve and there are no large predators on the farm, but there is a water buffalo focus and other great animals like giraffes.

Best price-performance ratio. Peaceful location, super nice and authentic furnishings. Comfortable room with great facilities. Extremely friendly hosts, they took a lot of time to answer all of our questions. There is a lot of attention to detail in this place, we felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend coming here. Perfect location for a stopover.

Great location and helpful staff. Very nice accommodation and the fireplace is the place to be! Had great diner and breakfast. The ride to the lodge is already a fun one. Unfortunately we only stay one night.

I loved everything at Malilule Safaris, from the moment I entered their gate we saw the giraffes 2nd gate the was buffalos and last gate were antelopes it's an amazing experience

While the location was beautiful, I was disappointed by the lack of basic amenities like hot water and a proper kitchen.this can make your stay uncomfortable even though we only had a light rain it was difficult to cook

The view 😻🔥it’s so cool and nice place to relax the view was breathtaking.The beauty of the scenery took my breath away. It was like a work of art, a masterpiece created by nature. I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder as I took it all in. The staff are so friendly ❤️

The pool could have been cleaner but the setting was beautiful.

The family room was very comfortable. Fan only but stayed cool. Very large washroom. Common sitting area was pretty. Staff who greeted us were nice and informative and allowed privacy. Saw some Buffalo and giraffe and smaller game on way in.

The extreme heat, mosquitoes, theres no air- conditioning in the chalets only fans ( maybe thats due to the solar system dependency). The single bed in our room was completely uncomfortable you could feel the coils, there are only bar fridges making it very difficult to fit ice packs.

The location is great for a breakaway from the hustle and bustle of towns, its very peaceful and quiet.

I brought my clients there. They complained about the fact that they were accused to break a glass which the day they found broken. They said they urged you to come check the room before they checked out and the staff was not keen to do that. Your glass is improperly placed and they said they found the other side broken by the previous customer. I would like to believe that hotels rather lodges have insurance and should be able to claim from that. It honestly looks like a trap!

We checked in after 21:00 and had to pay a fine of R400 as a penalty( for checking in after 20:00). But here on bookings their check in time is till 22:00. The place needs a proper kitchen for each “house” as it is self catering. They only supplied us with 1 pot and pan to use. And had to cook on the outside of the “house”

we had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights. The care and friendliness of Sally and Louis is fantastic and unique. The rooms and grounds are also top notch. We had breakfast and dinner there every day and it was delicious and perfect every time! We stayed there with our 1 year old son (youngest guest they have ever had) and our little man and the owners loved it. We can recommend this place to everyone.

Access to property challenging...no phone signal. Fridge not switched on prior to our arrival, so no ice. This is done in most self catering facilities , so would be appreciated.

The bedroom hanging lights are a bit too bright especially considering their position. And also , there is not an electric kettle in the room . It’s just a little bit of an inconvenience

Both Louis and Sally were excellent hosts and made sure that all of our needs were taken care of. The lodge met all our expectations and we will certainly recommend a visit to Malilule Safaris.
