The rooms are in need of some decor and new bedding. A colour scheme or some theme would create a more inviting stay. After being very impressed with the beautiful property, the room itself, although comfortable, was underwhelming. The kitchenette was unfortunately not stocked with cutlery, plates, a coffee station or glasses and mugs. Just a little more care from the Lodge would make this my favorite spot yet.

The size of my room is awesome as well as the spacious shower. The dressing table with the large mirror is great andsuper handy.. This lodge can definitely be considered for long term lodging and for people working remotely. The wifi is good but most of all, I absolutely love the peace and quiet. Privacy is well respected.

The property had broken cars parked in the yard, communication on the first day was very poor, the contact number provided on booking.com went straight to voicemail. There were no warm blankets and the weather was very cold. No coffee, tea, sugar or milk.

The place was not clean, there was hair in the shower and even inside the kettle and the dustbin lid was left in the shower. The sheets creek the smell of the dust and had stains on them. The dogs were making noise outside and kids running up and down the stairs were just making noise.

The staff at this property are very bad. They cannot communicate properly. No1. On arrival we had to ring the bel at the gate several times and had t hoot before we the gates could be opened. No2. They refused to give us the keys even though we told them we were attending a concert at Carnival and would be returning late. They just said they will avail themselves to open for us when we come back from the concert. No3. When we returned no one could open for us we stood hooting and ringing the bell at the entrance for approximately 30 minutes, tired as we were. The guy (staff) who attended to us was very rude and did not show any care. No4. We really felt unwelcome at this guesthouse. They made us feel like they were doing us a favour. No5. We surely will never go back there.

Cats and dogs, noise of drank patrons or kids of the owner. I was so disappointed and the place is still under construction plus I notice exploitation of foreigners who happen to be Africans.

There was no breakfast and I didn't pay for it. However other places do provide tea stuff. At this place there was nothing only electric kettle no spoon no plates nothing.

We found the room not done we had to wait outside,the linen where no in good hygiene the smell you could smell it was used by someone,we didn’t get towels we had to ask we didn’t have catlary dishes n glasses we where really not happy with my husband not happy at all
