We struggled a bit with the WiFi at night but during the day it was fine.

The location and place was very nice. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The room was nice and the bed were comfy. Sufficient hot water and a lovely place all together.

Anne-Marie received us in a warm and welcoming manner, and ensured we were well looked after. A hearty breakfast was cooked by Mary, and we especially enjoyed her warmth and friendliness. Just a short drive from O.R. Tambo, but you feel submerged in nature, beautifully kept green garden that is full of unusual birdlife. We felt immediately relaxed and at home.

A beautiful building and garden in a secure community. The owner & staff were extremely friendly. We had just arrived after a long flight and accommodated our needs despite some conference events happening. Lovely guest lounges to use, an outside seating area and a bar.

The bathroom is poorly ventilated. Outside of that, I’m quite happy with my stay. ⭐️

I loved the outdoor patio, with palm trees and a peaceful sitting area. The bed was so comfortable. The style of the interior is retro and cozy. It felt like getting away from the busy city and tuning into a higher frequency.

The tranquillity amidst the far away road noise. We left too early to comment on breakfast, but I assume it would have been good based on the facilities. Kept clean and neat. Various places in the garden where one can just be peaceful.

Internet was mostly great, a little hit and miss especially downstairs. In the morning without any knocking or notice we had a staff member try and come in at 8.30 am, 1.5 hrs before check out for no reason known to us. Staff apologised but this is not something that should happen at all. Traditional keys although very cute and on theme with the place would have been nice to be labeled as a little confusing and tedious finding which works. Check in time is rather late compared to most other hotels, 4pm… was not an issue for me on this trip but would have been an inconvenience otherwise, feel this should be mentioned on the page before booking as it’s not a standard check in time.

Great location nearby airport. Whole vibe of the place and rooms is very traditional, some great artwork and chandeliers around the place. Garden is stunning and so nice to sit in. The whole estate is in a gated community and then the property itself has a gated complex - felt super safe staying here. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was nice. Tv in room worked great with fast streaming for Netflix ect.

The lower floor area inside (step in level) compared to the rest of the inside floor area at the outside door end is a definite safety concern. My daughter, the mother of the bride, fell and hurt her arm there prior to the ceremony. One don`t expect such a floor level difference inside the room. For the elderly it could be disastrous.

Only the location was a little out of the way. But that's it.

The chateau was very beautiful. Very cozy and clean. Staff was super friendly and the amenities were great. The breakfast was delicious also. I cannot fault anything.
