South AfricaMaybe the rooms felt a little distant from the restaurant and the pool was nice but maybe they could get some heating for just after summer, the water was really cold!!
Beautiful property and really well laid out and enough to keep you busy!!! The staff were also amazing always friendly and helpful and they took time to know everyone’s names and brought my daughter a nice large cookie which she enjoyed!!

United KingdomA few minor things: The 10am check out is unreasonably early. The noise from the road is tolerable but noticeable. For the price it would be nice if it had a gym. The breakfast was nice but we had dinner there once and they were serving a lunchtime menu for dinner and the food was fine but nothing special. Feel they should have told us that in advance and we would have gone somewhere else.
It’s very peaceful and our room was very big. The grounds and the pool area are lovely.

South AfricaNot a dislike but rather some constructive feedback. We were so lucky to get a free Upgrade and are very grateful. Our suite was spacious and bright. It would be so much more lovely with some thoughtful touches of art on the walls and some green foliage outside the shower area. The pool area could do with a few more loungers.
Breakfast was yummy made all the more lovely by the beautiful garden setting.

Beautiful property and our room was lovely and spacious. The hotel did a lot to make us feel welcome including helping to organise a charcuterie plate when the restaurant was shut. The grounds were stunning.

United KingdomThe fact that the restaurant was CLOSED on a Saturday evening was a real inconvenience! We had been out all day at the vineyards and would have liked to just relaxed in the hotel, but because there were no food options - we had to get ready and go back out!
A really warm welcome awaits you! We were made to feel very special when we arrived by the front of house host, Ashleen. Our room was wonderful - very clean/peaceful/tucked away! The styling of this resort is perfect - minimal meets industrial and the decor of the rooms was very contemporary. We dined in the restaurant on the first night and met the most wonderful waitress, YOLANDA who was so warm and engaging - she really was the best part about our stay here! We were greeted personally by YOLANDA again for breakfast the following morning which added a really personal touch to our stay. She is genuinely interested in the customer and offered an exceptional standard of customer service! It was however very disappointing to learn that the restaurant is not open every night. The location of this estate is SO remote that it seems crazy that you would not offer catering on site every day. We were +25mins drive (at least) outside of Franschhoek and transport was expensive. I would expect you to offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the town to make staying here more attractive. The quality of the food and service in the restaurant when it was open was exceptional! We had one wonderful evening meal and two great breakfasts but we cannot forgive the restaurant not being open on a Saturday evening. This seems crazy and I question the business decision behind this - forcing your guests OUT when surely you should be encouraging them to eat IN, on site. Unless this changes, we would seriously have to consider returning. Overall, the estate has tremendous potential - a lot of which is not being explored! There is so much wasted space that could easily be turned into more accommodation which would in turn give you the covers for opening your restaurant - it’s a no brainer!

The room and bathroom were very spacious, with the bathroom beautifully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept so well. We loved the pool and the lovely gardens. The restaurant is cosy and served excellent food.

South AfricaTiny details - overall upkeep of property has slipped a bit, doors could do with fixing, wood rotting here and there (but minor and things you would expect on a "farm". No Slippers in room (this would have been great for the price you pay) and no adaptor for the hairdryer to fit into the plug points. Walls in the bathrooms could have been wiped down more, there were signs of make-up smudges on the wall etc - but really teeny teeny tiny - nothing to put you off. Would still book again in a heartbeat
