From the moment we arrived at this guest house, we were completely blown away. Nestled in a peaceful and picturesque location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The property is beautifully maintained, blending charm and comfort in a way that made us feel instantly at home. Our room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with attention to every little detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and waking up to the view each morning felt like a dream. Lisa and the other staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay special — from local recommendations to homemade breakfast that was simply out of this world. As temperature was on the lower side, we kept dreaming about the idea of the pool being heated to be able to enjoy it whilst the air was cold. During our cloudy day, it would have been incredible. Certainly not a dislike at all, but suggestions of heated pool, sauna, ice bath additions would take this place to the next level!

Lisa was superb as a host. Location was great. Felt safe. Gardens were lovely to enjoy, sitting in different areas and soaking up the midday sun before grabbing blankets and enjoying the evening. Very quiet and peaceful. All other guests were very nice and barely saw them to be honest.

On the expensive side for a SAn citizen. They could have had more options on the hot side for breakfast, eg. omelettes, scrambled egg, etc. but otherwise a very delicious breakfast and the added touch of Easter eggs on Easter Sunday. Very friendly staff.

It is in a very peaceful, quiet, beautiful setting with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. The garden and pool area is gorgeous and it is a perfect place to relax and unwind. I wish I could have spent a week there. The rooms are very comfortable and the host extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating. It is close to the town, but away from the noise and haste.

Excellent breakfasts, hospitality and service! Room was clean, gardens lush and two pools for refreshment; we felt like we were really “at home” and so warmly and professionally treated. Very safe, too.

What a wonderful stay it was. I would have given it the highest score just for the views, but everything else was perfect too. Excellent breakfast, very spacious room, comfortable bed, and a lovely pool. The people were very friendly. And yet, the most amazing thing was the views...

There were a lot of mosquitoes around and depending on the wind direction, a bad smell emanating, presumably from the septic tank.

The location and views are fantastic. The rooms were very clean, well maintained and well appointed. The breakfasts were excellent, with lots of nice meals to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location is great..peaceful with large well laid out and interesting gardens and stunning views. About 10 min stroll into the main town (daylight only) but uber is widespread so cheap and easy to get back at night. We have stayed in many places in Franschhoek over the years and this is our favourite

My only criticism was that the bath towels were small

Excellent accommodation. the grounds were immaculate spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. Lisa was a great host. Perfect location to walk into Franshoek.
