Because there is no window in the bathroom, there was no sufficient ventilation, this resulted to a foul smell in there bathroom. the owner can put an air diffuser or toilet spray to suppress the smell.

The views, the available resources that made my stay easy. The host was also very welcoming. The service was just implacable.

Location was perfect, a lot of activities around the area. 30-40 mins drive to knysna etc etc, pretty central. Beautiful views, great place just to rest and take a break, worth every penny :-) 100% recommend this place, I will definitely be back in the near future :-)

I would have liked to have used the sauna as part of the perks, but there is a fee attached which is understandable. I would stay here again. It was well worth the cost. Thanks for having us.

The view was amazing. The shower is lovely. The room is large enough and the bedding is quality . We pretty much had the place to ourselves . We were in the West room, and the next time I will book the East, it just gives you a bit more privacy .

Our reception felt as if we were dragged in by dogs. The person who didn't introduce himself, ordered us to put our bags down where we stood at the front door, ordering us to follow him. He showed us the view from his 2nd story level and asked if we know the town. After saying that we did, he then took us downstairs to our room. He indicated that we should get the rest of our luggage from the car by following the stairs outside around the building. He left abruptly again up the stairs, switching off the lights and closing his door, as we followed him back up the stairs to fetch our bags. After realizing we will still coming up the stairs, and my wife complaining, he then opened the door again. We took our bags and struggled down these stairs. No help or directions were offered at any time. We really did not feel welcome at all. Later in the weekend we noticed that he was having a hearty conversation with international tourists. As South Africans we did not like this person's attitude. It was as if we intruded on his property. Also, any photos that might show a built in barbeque/braai....this is the owner's private area. It was not a problem for us because we didn't mind using the mobile gas braai available. Don't get the impression that it is part of what is offered.

Amazing setting with amazing views, nestled above town, at the edge of nature reserve. Very nice deck, pool and private enough space. Communal kitchen are modern and well fitted.

Kooboo guesthouse is truly amazing. The view from the terrace is stunning and the rooms are spacious. Shared areas are equipped with everything one needs from a well equipped kitchen to a laundry room.

Even though it rained most of the time the view was very, very nice! We stayed three night: It was very clean, the service very good! Kitchen had everything one can think of and we love that we could do laundry and enjoy a quiet time up above wilderness.

the room was a little bit damp and the pool cleaner was in the pool for the whole stay not turned on. Otherwise lovely place to stay and we enjoyed very much.
