The chalets are beautifully built and bed and linens so comfortable. We opted for the braii for dinner and it was wonderful sitting outside by the fire even tho it was chilly. Spotted one duiker (?) grazing in the chalet grounds on arrival but on our drive out we spotted a small herd on the road.

We liked everything! Everything one could want for an overnight or longer stay is available. If you fancy cooking - nope! - then you can do so. The kitchen even has an Air Fryer.

We liked everything from the warm reception by Irene after a 6 hour odd drive from Bloemfontein to the unkinking of our muscles, sitting in very comfortable outdoor, camping chairs listening to bird calls and admiring the beautifully manicured lawns from the patio to climbing into very comfortable beds after lovely hot showers with loads of decent sized towels to the absolute serenity of the early morning sounds of the bush. We braaied in a spotless braai and a gent came around early the next morning to remove the ash. The swimming pool area looked very inviting, even in Winter. We didn't have time to do any of the trails but that is on my list for next time. We were very lucky to see 4 giraffe feeding on Acacia trees on the way out of the Park which absolutely made my day. For our particular circumstances - a round trip from Cape Town to Bloemfontein to visit our son, it is the ultimate half way destination and we cannot wait to stay again.

We stayed in a standard room the first night and my only complaint is that the TV is too small, otherwise the accommodation is great.

Ko Ka Tsara is always our go-to place, a tranquil, peaceful environment to unwind and destress. The only thing we missed this time were the beautiful giraffes

Very clean and well set up. Enough toilet paper and towels. Staff cleaned the room nicely while we were away. Over all great service from friendly staff and great facilities.

Beautiful peaceful valley. Unfortunately we didn't spot any animals grazing around the chalet. However we were lucky to see a young giraffe just right by the side of the track when we drove in.

We loved every second of the stay, everything is beautiful and we were lucky to see 5 giraffes, lots of impalas, springbucks and a kudu. The chalet was well stocked, and we ordered lamb curry for dinner (95 rand a plate) which was some of the best I have ever tasted. Irene was super friendly. It was raining and very cold and the chalet was heated so that was a big plus. Bed were comfy, shower very hot, and we liked everything. The grounds are well tended and one giraffe even walked around the chalets.

We did not see any giraffes, but we still enjoyed our stay.

The view and accommodation were perfect. Nice quiet environment, had seen some wild animals. The staff were excellent with communication and assistance. Braai area and equipment in the house is of high standard.

Great place off the road , but you don’t need a high clearance car - chalets are great - all you need is there - you can book fresh meat etc for a braaii the evening - perfect - deer and giraffes on the premisis

if you have to connect to the outside world or have to do some work/ emails the 2.5 mbits/sec are not adequate

Out in the bush with giraffe and gazelles right in front of chalets early morning hours. Friendly helpful staff. We stayed over en route to Gauteng but will be back for a break
