Fantastic location offering both fly fishing and Bass fishing. Bass fishing in Lake Kinloch only. All other dams fly fishing only. Wonderful hosts. My wife caught her first Rainbow Trout after a lesson from Ian. Will definitely be back.

The lodge offers complete privacy and seclusion, surrounded by a beautiful mix of forests, open fields, and tranquil dams. It’s only a short 15-minute drive to the town of Dullstroom, making it ideal if you’d like to pop out for a leisurely lunch or dinner. The owners are incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. Our two-sleeper cottage was wonderfully cozy, with immaculate attention to detail in every aspect, creating a charming and inviting country-cottage atmosphere.

    Nothing…

The location is amazing! So peaceful and tranquil… yet only 15 mins from Dullstroom. We stayed in Dunbar cottage and it was so cosy with the log fire. We walked everyday around the farm, up and down the rolling hills admiring the stunning views. Ian, our host, was most welcoming on arrival and we loved all the cats!

Kinloch provided the best fly fishing experience we've had in Dullstroom, with a variety of well-stocked dams to choose from. The accommodation is tasteful and cozy, with thoughtful touches throughout. The fireplace and electric blankets kept us warm and comfortable during the winter chill. Sianny brought us freshly baked muffins in the morning—a lovely personal touch. The peace and quiet make this the ideal retreat. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Thank you, Ian and Sianny. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kinloch. We loved Inverness cottage. The rooms are large and well-appointed. The electric blankets were very useful. We have wonderful memories of sitting around the cozy fireplace in the evenings. The highlight of the day was the early delivery of your most delicious muffins. The lawns are green and lush, and the farm views are stunning. The dams were well stocked with fish. We can highly recommend Kinloch Lodge.

The road was a little challenging, but that was due to the rainy days previously. When we left, the roads were much better.

From our arrival, we were welcomed like old friends, a beautiful lodge, with stunning views, incredible hosts, where nothing is too much trouble. The special touches - warm, homebaked muffins in the morning, special birthday cake with sparklers, a sign on the front door welcoming us - just wonderful!

The short dirt road to Kinloch Lodge is accessible if you don't have a 4X4 or all-wheel drive vehicle, but it's very slow going, especially after it has rained. So factor that into your travel time.

Host Sianny treated us with warm home made muffins every morning -- on the house! She also came to our rescue with some mozzie repellant when we realized we hadn't packed that. For the rest, we had total privacy and enjoyed a wonderful restful weekend.
