The lodge is in a beautiful setting with wildlife free roaming. Quiet and relaxing and a friendly and helpful host, George. The unit was clean, the bed comfortable and it has a powerful shower.

We had a lovely stay here - the host was so lovely and welcoming. It was a beautiful room - very modern, tv, really clean, comfy bed, with all of the kitchen amenities you could need. The highlight - the property’s surroundings. We saw warthogs grazing outside our terrace, on our short walk around the country estate we saw four giraffes!

There was nothing not to like. I wish I had spent more time here.

Set in a wonderful private estate with 24hr security. Rooms have amazing views of nature, wildlife and the city of Mbombela in the distance Rooms are spotless, modern, comfortable and perfect for couples, solo travellers and small families. The kitchenette had everything we needed and a gas braai/barbecue was arranged for us. Our incredible host (Zelda), was knowledgeable and accommodating. Probably the best value for money accommodation we used whilst in Mpumalanga. Great for a home base for Kruger National Park given its closeness to both the Phabeni and Numbi gates. Private Safari drives are also available White River and Mbombela are also very close by with multiple fantastic eating options. Beautiful non-predatory wildlife (Impala, Giraffe, Zebra, etc) on the estate allowing you to walk around safely and immerse yourself in nature. The estate itself has hiking/walking paths for you to enjoy in addition to a beautiful picnic area. The residents on the estate are super friendly.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The guest suite is located in a stunning wildlife estate with easy access to town. Beautiful, comfortable accommodation and excellent value for money. The hosts are so welcoming and go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Can highly recommend Khululeka.

The estate is beautiful and has zebras, giraffes, kudu and more. George and Zelda are amazing hosts. The lodge is very nice. The rooms are spacious, modern and airconditioned. Without a doubt the best location we stayed at in our 3 weeks in South Africa. We booked a full day Gamedrive in Kruger with Khululeka and we were fortunate to see the big 5 in one day! It's truly a magical and special place.

A toaster would have been helpful to have a quick breakfast instead of having to go out, but I am sure this could be arranged with George (the host) very easily.

The room was very clean and comfortable to stay in, even for a few nights. Bed is super comfy and there is an aircon for use in summer which will be needed. The room was serviced daily as well as restocked with coffee/tea and waters.

I just wished we had an option of a bath as well.

The room is spacious. It's well kept and very clean. The room smells absolutely amazing. It smells fresh and florally. The shower head has just the right pressure. The water is hot all the time.

I highly recommend the place , it’s secure ,clean and the rooms are comfortable. The check in process was very easy , with no hustle . The estate is stunning . Loved how peaceful it was . Definitely going back . Thank you Zelda and your hubby for making us feel at home
