How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A home away from home experience. Absolutely friendly staff and esteemed manager going our of their way to ensure even the little comforts are taken care of. Additionally, great vegan and vegetarian options for breakfast.

Plugs nearer to the bed with bed lamps.
Breakfast was ecceptional. The room was not what i ecpected bit small , plugs far from the bed. No microwave in the room.

The in-house kitchen and the curry was good. It was extremely windy, which i presume is normal for the west coast at times.
The breakfast was good. The accommodation was comfortable I single seater chair in the room would've been ideal because i had to finish some month end work. A table and chair. Otherwise, the peace and tranquility was good.

The towels have seen better days. It’s advertised as five star but was definitely not. The pool were on all night and as the water level went over and under the jet, it made a waking noise. Breakfast dis not have many options and they were out of jam.
The rooms are modern and were super clean. The price was good for one night.

I think for what you paying - there should be aircon's in the rooms in the villa section , Umbrellas and seating of your balcony's in Villa section would be a bonus ,
Loved the Hotel - The Staff and GM were friendly and amazing , The Room was nice and plenty of space and nice view from balcony. Pool area is Devine and was perfect to sit and chill, my son loved the pool Breakfast is basic BUT good..... Plenty of parking

Breakfast was a bit disappointing, i.e. bacon wasn't great and I didn;t have any other egg option other than pre-cooked scrambled eggs. Dinner on the first night was also very disappointing - overcooked angel fish, overcooked ostrich fillet and when they brought the wrong side with the ostrich there was no attempt to resolve. It was only the next day when we mentioned it to the owner did he take it onboard, apologise and ensured that we had a better experience the 2nd night. Also, the rooms are not THAT soundproof.- especially when people gather by the pool right outside your bedroom.
Poolside rooms were comfortable and well equipped....TV, kettle/coffee, AC, etc. Owner and staff were very friendly and, on the few occasions I requested something for the room, they were attentive. The hotel is located in a very nice and spacious part of Langebaan - close enough to drive into Langebaan yet quite enough for it to be peaceful.

Water from the shower had run out, making the bathroom floor a bit wet. Something that I'm sure can be fixed easily.
The check in and check out was quick and efficient. The room was neat and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. I requested a poached egg at breakfast and it was plated and nicely presented...thank you.

The hotel was advertised on the website as 2 different hotels. We actually chose the more expensive one, but found ourselves at the other one and were told that that is the one we had booked. They were advertised as the K partners boutique and also as the Langebaan boutique and finding the hotel was very difficult as a result. Dinner options were very limited. Hotel situated far from the sea.
