Beautiful view from patio and room.....although it could be more private as guests can look into the unit as they walk past the room....could be embarrisisng. Room windows could be slightly tinted or vinyl at the lower sections. Nothing else was a miss.

We had the most comfortable stay at Jovali Clarens. The room was super cozy and clean. It was a self-catering unit and everything was well thought of. The view was breathtaking. Would highly recommend for a couples getaway. Will definitely go back.

What a pleasurable stay. A 5 star experience with zero contact. Inside? A 10. Outside? A 10. Well curated. Well thought out. Comfortable. This will be our annual post-Afriski accommodation.

It is a little bit of a struggle to get to and from our vehicle with luggage. I don't know how a person with physical restrictions would manage. The road to the property isn't great. Overall, Jovali is a lovely place to stay. Highly recommended 👌 👍

The roads in and out are very bad and the rain made it made the situation worse unfortunately. The DSTV isn’t premium (as stated in the description) but rather a hotel bouquet and there wasn’t a coffee machine also as stated in the description Please remember to bring things like bin bags and extra loo rolls.

The bed was amazingly comfortable. The views were to die for. Relaxing just by looking out over the mountains.

The unit was beautifully appointed with great attention to detail and lovely personal touches. Being just outside the town we had the advantage of being able to enjoy the natural beauty of the area while the shops and restaurants were only a short drive away.

Jovali offered me the best opportunity to rest and recharge my energy! The peacefulness, nature, animals and exceptional scenery were truly therapeutic. I thank Tim and Johan for their attention to detail and looking after my comfort. Even the weather played along great ;-)

Getting there with just GPS was terrible. I lost cellphone network several times and got horribly lost a few times. I'd recommend that any solo traveller who is not familiar with the area use a physical map when going there and make the trip during daylight. A sign on one of the main roads would have also really helped. Also there was no phone charger plug point near the bed. Had to unplug a lamp to be able charge near my bed.

Well first the hosts was amazing, incredible friendly and warm. They went above and beyond and heroically rescued me when I got stuck in a ditch on the end of a cliff on my way to my destination :D I loved their complimentary cherry. Loved the kitchen and appreciated the quality of the pillows on the bed as well as a thicker blanket being available The coffee machine and complementary coffee were amazing. So was the complementary cake. The room was clean and I appreciated its charm The room was well stocked with everything I needed and was wonderfully quiet and peaceful.

Everything! Immaculately kept facilities both inside and out. Absolutely every comfort you could think of and more is provided and beautifully presented Peaceful with fantastic views and very close to town. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

As stated in the property description, the roads leading to Jovali are better suited for bigger cars but our sedan managed well driving slowly.

A peaceful stay away from the hustle of the city. Every little detail was well thought out and provided for, making our stay at Jovali comfortable and pleasant. The hosts are accommodating and wonderful, we even got a tasty cheesecake in our room on arrival. Amazing views of the mountains during sunrise and sunset.

The fact that they don:t clean the place during your stay, not that it mattered a lot but it would have been nice.
