We needed a last minute booking and Jaco and Liz were super accommodative. We checked in quite late and they waited up for us. The room is cosy and the deck view is gorgeous.

Great folks, lovely place to stay over. Super friendly and great advice where to take a morning walk. Even offered to make reservations at some restaurants in town without asking. We got the upstairs floor and they stayed in their mancave :)

Sharing the kitchen with the owners was unexpected.

Loved the balcony and being able to hear the sea . Secure parking Jaco and Liz were excellent hosts and made us very welcome- even invited us for a braai one evening.

The hosters were so kind & cooperative. They were doing everything to let us feel comfortable. Also we changed the date of night that we booked & they helped us immediately without any hesitation although It is not their issue & we got the plan changed in the same day of our reserved night.

Upon arrival we were greeted by our hosts, Jaco and Liz who were both very welcoming. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their home. We were even treated to an amazing braai; the salad was even made from fresh produce from their garden - delicious. Jaco and Liz went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and we were able to relax and enjoy our short break-away and enjoy some fresh sea air.

Jaco and Liz are a very hospitable couple, they will make you feel at home. The accomodation is clean, comfortable beds. There's an amazing view from the terrace and during the night you will hear the ocean from afar. We definitely recommend this place.

This is a general comment that applies to most accommodations available country wide. It is extremely difficult to find accommodation with 2 single beds, which we require, instead of a double bed, without taking a unit for 4 people. We also far prefer a top sheet as we find duvets too hot in summer

One could not ask for kinder, friendlier, more considerate, and helpful host and hostess. We felt completely at home and enjoyed chatting to them. The beautifully cool seabreeze on the upstairs verandah was such a welcome respite from the excessive heat of Stellenbosch. In walking distance of the sea. Spacious loft room with ample place to put your suitcases

The Lovely couple welcomed us with open arms even though we checked in very late and we had a very friendly next morning with a good cup of coffee, they made us feel like we wanted to stay longer and get to know them. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a quick place to stay the night especially in hermanus when it's so difficult to find a place open and not fully booked.

The couple im sure mean well but them moving into the garage whiilst we occupied their house didnt sit right with me. Also there is no privacy especially to braai as the braai is near where the owners sleep. We also caught them more than once sneaking nto the area we rented thinking we couldnt hear or see them doing so. Thats not on. Also we are none smokers so walking oit the front door and smelling cogarrete smoke always was no great for us. We travel all over the world so we know whats fair and whats not. U should ensure when u advertise that u say the owners are on site and certain areas shared. Check your upstairs shower as water is cold. You told us on arrival the fireplace wasnt working then take it off your advert. It was freezing in that place. Not an enjoyable stay
