Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyWe had room no 2, which has less privacy due to its location right next to the common area (but all other rooms have more privacy). And the food (especially vegetarian) did not meet expectations, especially considering the high price, in terms of both variety and quality. It was more like what you would expect at accommodations costing €50–100 per night.
We had a fantastic stay at Inyati! The game drives (with Rodger and Qulani) were absolutely amazing, it couldn’t have been better. We saw the big 5 even in one day. The entire facility is very peaceful in a great location and the staff was lovely! Highly recommended!

United KingdomWe loved Inyati! An incredible setting with lovely facilities. Our room was gorgeous and was kept exceptionally clean and tidy by the housekeeping team. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and served with a smile. Our ranger Mike and tracker Solly were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. They made our game drives a wonderful experience. We saw and learnt so much. Thank you to everyone at Inyati for making our stay super special and a particular thank you for the kind gesture of champagne to celebrate the special (60th) birthday I had this year.

AustraliaThe staff and the service were outstanding especially our guide and tracker Omega and Joel who went above and beyond to make our safari experience exciting and informative. Their passion and love for the bush and animals is something we will never forget.

United KingdomIncredible place. Saw elephants, leopards, and hippos all WITHIN the camp itself! Could watch giraffes, hippos, and elephants whilst having breakfast. Amazing game viewing opportunities - almost guaranteed to see big 5. Best place in the world to see leopards. Food and accommodation were also amazing, and staff were fantastic. Would recommend to anyone!

United KingdomYou have to leave at the end of your stay. That is literally the only negative.
Cannot say enough praises about Inyati game lodge. The rooms are ultimate luxury. Every evening you arrive back from a safari game drive and a hot water bottle is placed under the sheets of the bed to just warm you through enough at night time. The bedding and bed itself are also one of the best I’ve stayed in ever. My wife even mentioned it may be comfier than what we have at home. The rooms are stocked with numerous types of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Snacks of Pringles and chocolate are also given to guest in the room. The food at the lodge is a real treat. Throughout the day from pre drive light breakfast, brunch, afternoon snacks and to main evening meals. The quality of all produce is of extremely high standards. Everything tasted amazing (especially the fillet steaks) and the service is that what you’d find in Michelin star restaurants. Game drives are the main reason we picked Inyati for our safari as it’s mainly about the animals and having the best chance to see them. It did not disappoint at all. Being in Sabi Sands is a perfect location and drives are with a set driver and tracker for your complete stay which allows a real bond to be built (Request Diff & Lucas). The drivers will do their best to get guests in a position to see what they aspire to most. Highlights of our drives were a mother leopard and her two cubs, who we were told all lodges had been looking for since their birth 7 weeks prior. A pack of lions feasting after their hunt of a zebra. Hearts of elephants on numerous occasions and 5 Lionesses with their 9 cubs. Throw in the daily sightings of Giraffes, Hippos, Impala, various birds and the odd rhino I don’t think there is a lot we didn’t see. Another nice feature is that there are only a small amount of rooms (11, I believe) this means that the accommodation would never feel overcrowded.

LebanonTruly, the best lodge we have ever stayed in. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, the room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The kindest, most helpful and professional employees i have ever met. Every single one of them had a smile on their faces from the moment we walked in till the moment we left. The chef who cooked amazing meals, Mr. Goodman who made sure we were comfortable while in the lounge area, the receptionist who welcomed us when we arrived. And two of the most amazing people who accompanied us on our game drives. Mr. Omega, our ranger and Mr. Joel, the tracker. I would like to deeply thank them for their patience, their knowledge and their beautiful spirits. Everyone was super friendly . It was our first time going on a safari trip and i'm super glad we chose Inyati Game Lodge. Thank you for the wonderful memories. Cannot recommend this lodge enough!!
