Everything was really good

Location was great, bedrooms were really beautiful and comfortable. Every detail was super well taken care of, fresh water everyday, warm sheets. Everything was amazing. The breakfast is amazing and actually tailor made for the guest. The hosts are incredible, they give really good local recommendations and conversation is really good. They made our stay an incredible and amazing experience, we felt at home. Definitely super recommended.

My room opened directly into the dining room and lounge, which wasn’t ideal for privacy. However, since I was traveling alone, it didn’t bother me much.

The perfect blend of cleanliness, coziness, and charming decor, topped off by the warm hospitality of the owner couple.

The beds could be a little softer. Maybe a gell topper for those who aren't fond of a firm bed.

The onwers are lovely and make the stay very special. There is a poool in the back garden which is a huge plus. Breakfast is great--besides cooked meals there is feta cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes fresh sliced ham, wonderful bread, jams, etc.

Our hosts were very kind and helpful with nothing being too much for them. The property is extremely clean and well situated for sight seeing in and around Cape Town. The perfect place to stay on every level!!

The whole experience for my daughter and I was fantastic Claus and Katrin were such a lovely couple and were so helpful and friendly. They even got up early on the last morning to see me off to the airport. I wish we could have stayed longer and I hope we can come back.

The pool area, the room, the overall aesthetic is homely with beautiful art but spotlessly clean The hosts were friendly and very helpful with any questions we had I would recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful stay, outside of the hustle and bustle of the city centre but can get to main attractions and areas within minutes

Claus and Katrin were incredibly friendly and took a lot of time out of their days to talk to us and give recommendations what to do, where to eat, and even which routes to use on our journey. The breakfast buffet offered a huge amount of choices. We especially loved their home made eggs and the fluffy rolls. Our room was big and comfortable, and the entire townhouse is filled with cute art and antiques. Of course the absolute highlight for us was cuddling their cat Bowie - we miss you already! If we come back to Cape town we will definitely stay here again. Vielen Dank Claus und Katrin für eure herzliche Gastfreundschaft, wir haben uns gefühlt wie Zuhause!

Our visit to Cape Town and the Western Cape Winelands was fantastic, and our stay at Himmelblau was a high point. Katrin and Claus were superb hosts who helped us find gems in the rich environment for visitors. The elaborate german breakfast presented an array of the finest sliced meats, cheeses, fresh rolls, muesli, yogurt, homemade jams, and the absolute best coffee with additional hot breakfast options available. In everything, their desire to delight guests and provide for their comfort was evident.

If you’re more private/like to keep to yourself, this probably isn’t the place for you. Sometimes our room could be a little loud in the morning from other guests, because we slept in.

Very friendly owners with good tips. nice to join them in the public space/ family room. Open till late for us late arrivals. (And the morning shower with sun on our backs!) Good area with quick pickup from Ubers.
