We had lovely hosts and felt welcome immediately. Not only are the rooms spacious beautiful and comfy but everything we needed was provided for. Extra blankets, a swimming pool with extra towels, body wash and a lovely homemade muesli, yoghurt, fresh bread and homemade jam. French press coffee. Overall we had an amazing stay with the most wonderful people. We were also fortunate enough to see an eagle in their garden and whales in hermanus. I'd recommend a snorkel at Davies pool if you're in the area. Thanks so much Fiona and Bob and Zola, We will be back ❤️

I liked the home made bread for breakfast and sitting on the terrasse with the great view. The fish in the restaurant directly on the beach was great.

Naturally warm and welcoming hosts. Felt comfortable and totally at home. Plenty of safe parking. Quiet area close to everything. Tasty warm fresh bread for breakfast and a help yourself vibe. So relaxing. Lovely enclosed pool area. Instead of the nasty little commercial coffee sachets there was a little jar of good coffee in the room. And plenty of space for stuff.

The hosts were super kind and friendly, and really made us feel at home! For us one of the best hosts we ever hand - giving us lots of tips for restaurants, hikes, and things to do at our upcoming destinations. The place is also very nicely located right at the river and the bed was amazing - we slept perfect!

Beautiful home. We booked 3 rooms. So clean and comfy. Photos can't do it justice, cant capture atmosphereand great hospitality. Fiona and Bob are the ulimate hosts. We will be back. .

Nothing, it was great!

Fiona was so welcoming and responsive and helped us with directions and advice, the room was comfortable and clean and nice, and we got two homemade loaves of bread for breakfast in the morning, along with a beautiful view, birds singing and frogs croaking.

The walls seem to be a bit thin as it can get a bit noisy. We had ear plugs with us so it didn't bother us.

Loveliest hosts, who provided us with lots of tips and informations and cared about everything. We were actually only on a stopover but would come back for some extra nights.

We had a wonderful stay! Fiona and Bob are the most lovely people. They gave us very good advice on what activities to do or where to go eat and drink based on our interests. The location is perfect: a nice and quiet neighbourhood and still close to everything. Their dog is calm and very friendly. Hermanus and surroundings is a beautiful place and a must visit even if it is not whale season!

Breakfast very basic. Expected at least a laid table with facilities at hand and not hidden in a cupboard. Wash basin in bathroom rather uncomfortable to use. Could not see through the windows. Difficulty in opening the windows.

I would have liked a welcome gift of a bottle of water & a small chocolate. I would have liked more interaction from the hosts. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary but there was little interest in the reason for our stay.

The location was lovely. My husband connected with Bob. I loved interacting with Fiona, who was altogether lovely. I appreciated the effort to accommodate my vegan needs. The finishings of the room was of a high quality. A 4 star, high end location.

The room door we got could not lock, from outside,that left us not in a good place leaving our belongings behind while going out. Also it was our first accommodation where the owner' s is living in the same house ,that was awkward awkward.

The decora and the hygiene was well taken care of.
