The last 2-3 night the bed was made up without a bottom sheet... no reason for this was given. 😔

What a super place to stay Gubas de Hoek is. Right in the middle of Robertson, with safe, private parking. The 2 bed cottage suited our needs perfectly. Well equipped , with plenty of space. We paid for breakfast each morning, which was delicious and lovely to sit near the pool. Well placed for visiting the wineries in the Robertson area. The host Balbina is lovely and so helpful , with lots of suggestions of where to visit. The gardens were beautiful and tranquil, wonderful to see the sunbirds on the sugar water feeders. Thank you for a lovely stay. We’ll be back!

Absolutely lovely place in the center of Robertson. Secure parking inside the gates. Our room was upstairs which was really beautiful overlooking the property. Nice swimming pool with a relaxing area and a fantastic breakfast. We can really recommend this place with all the nice details and the lovely birds.

We stayed in a three-bedroomed house (Tarter Street) which was very comfortable and had a garage in which to park the car - all very safe. The kitchen had a dishwasher which was a bonus. Great hairdryer and there was a lovely coffee shop two houses down from us.

There was nothing for me not to like.

The room was very comfortable with a pleasing outlook. The bathroom had some nice additional thoughtful touches. Breakfast was served in a lovely outside covered area in the calm peaceful garden and was excellent.

The property was wonderful. We were warmly treated by the owner , Balbalina , and her friendly staff. The cottage was well equipped with everything that one would need. It was quiet. It also had a lovely pool. It was clean. We got good advice about where to eat and visit.

I felt the pool was a safety hazard without fencing.its not a place I'll bring my grandbabies.

Breakfast were amazing 👏 homely atmosphere with excellent hospitality 10/10.All the staff and host made us feel right at home.

The crockery and kitchen equipment was very minimal. No kitchen scissors were provided but I guess I could have requested some. Would have liked more comfortable furniture in the living room say a couple of armchairs. Aircon in the bedroom would have been a great asset. However we were very pleased with the accommodation.

We loved how spacious the accommodation was. The staff were very helpful and charming. The outside space was nicely secluded. Both the pool and garden were nicely arranged and furnished. Agood location.
