Spent three incredible days glamping on a picturesque farm nestled between lush vineyards, and it was everything I hoped for. The setting was serene and offered the perfect mix of nature and comfort. The wood-fired hot tub was an absolute highlight. The enclosed fire pit made our evenings cozy and magical, enjoying good conversation around the flames. The farm itself was peaceful, with stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. It felt wonderfully secluded, yet close enough to nature to fully unwind. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing retreat.

It was clean and comfortable and had a beautiful setting among the vineyards. It was well equipped.

The lights. There could be more, as it is very dark on the property. Also the willow tree brushed up against roof. Dogs were barking most of the night at surrounding farm, so we didnt have the best nights sleep. Check in should be a little earlier, as it felt a 1 night stay was way to short.

We liked that we were alone and had no interference. It had airconditioning in heat of the day and heater blanket for night. It was very cold at night, so that helped. The kol kol pool is a nice touch to the property. That was our highlight.

We really struggled to get the shower temperature right. The water was either scorching hot or ice cold.

Very calm and serene location with stream sounds to sooth you through the night. The facilities were good and we enjoyed our stay. It was quite a cold night but the electric blanket definitely saved us, so we slept soundly.

The shower gave us a few issues, maybe a minute of very hot water and then ice cold. The biggest window doesn't have a blind so sleeping in is a bit of a challenge. The woodfired tub takes exceptionally long to heat up - fine for summer temperatures but I was hoping for more of a hot tub experience.

I absolutely loved the solitude! The river and location were stunning, very peaceful and only a 5 min drive from central Franschhoek. Very good value for money. Exactly what we needed! We would definitely come back.

I only did not like the shower. Reason why is that or it was to cold or to hot. I struggled to get the perfect temperature.

I loved the location, and that it is secluded. Everything we needed was available. The stream was so peaceful and the hot tub was so relaxing, but needed more wood. At least 3 to 4 bags of wood in the winter time. But was really a lovely stay and will definitely recommend it

Host made sure to provide all creature comforts including a gas heater, extra blankets for winter; fan for summer, etc. , even some fruit in a fruit bowl. It's a quiet retreat from the main road.

There was no milk for coffee but there was coffee. The temperature inside was a touch on the icy side but the electric blankets helped.

There isn't a separation between the bathroom and the rest of the chalet, so there isn't really privacy if you need to use the loo and your partner is with you (they just have to go sit outside haha) :) Not a huge issue but something to know :D

Such a cosy little spot, pity we were only there for one evening. The pool and braai area looked so lovely, unfortunately it was cold so we were not able to use them :)

The property needs better indoor lighting. The surface of the swimming pool is very rough. Noise from the neighborhood was disturbing in the evenings and on Sunday morning.

Wonderfully comfortable bed. All you need in terms of facilities and equipment.

Due to some heavy rainfall and it being a canvas there was a leak in the roof which dripped throughout the night. The leak had been previously fixed but perhaps needs a bit of reinstallment

Good location, a short drive or 15/20 min walk into the centre of Franshoek, while still feeling very secluded and private. Great value for money, comfortable and beautiful surroundings. Loved it.
