The host was incredibly hospitable and welcoming towards us, going above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. The location of the property was absolutely beautiful and very conveniently located, with beautiful facilities.

Lovely pod in vineyard. On the expensive end of accommodation in Franschhoek but I felt was worth it. Hot tub great. Views lovely. Walking distance to wine tram and centre.

This is not meant as feedback, but just as a tip: the bed is a bit more on the smaller end, which is generally perfectly fine, but for my partner of 1.95m a bit short.

If you prefer a stay that is well-located in the Franschhoek area, private and intimate, and is really professionally managed, this is the place to stay. We stayed in the Gite Studio for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. There is so much to mention, but to name a few: the location is beautiful, private, and in nature with birds and squirrels passing by. The linnen and towels are soft and clean and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen and bbq make it super enjoyable to have your own braai. The host Juneta is wonderful, always available to answer your questions and she shared a lot of tips on fun things to do. We hope to come back one day!

Nothing, just needed to get that hot tub really stoked up we didn't quite get it right but that was our fault. For those staying make sure to give plenty of time and wood to get it hot.

There were quite a few mosquitoes which is normal for this time of the year. A mozzie zapper would be useful

We tried to heat up the bath tub to our preferable temperature but could not manage to get it warm enough within the time we were "at home", but this was our own fault ;). Nevertheless, the tub was very clean and the instructions clear. There was also enough wood, lighter, etc and the host even offered to come over to help, but we just gave up. So nothing really to complain about. I would book Gite again.

Great location in Franschhoek. We loved the little house. Everything was spotless, the house has everything you need for a nice stay. We could walk to the city centre. The wine tram is a two minute walk from the house if you want to use it. The view from the room is amazing towards vinyards and the surrounding mountains.

Great start to the stay with a friendly welcome from Kim. Everything was perfect from the easy to use wood fired hot tub to the beautiful chocolates left of the bed. A truly stunning place to stay and forget about the rest of the world.

A beautiful stay close to town with beautiful views and super private. The Gite is even more special than the photos show. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was lovely and they supplied enough wood for a very long soak.

Whilst it was a treat to have the hot tub and it was clean when we arrived, when we used the furnace to heat it the water then had ash in it, this may have been user error.

N/A it's perfect. The ubers struggled to find the place (if you don't have a car) but it's a 5 min walk to the security gate to get service.
