The attention to detail when cleaning the room. My pillows were left on the floor and there was a brown bag with another Chalet's garbage left in my room.

The staff were very accommodating and the meals and tours were wonderful. The accomodatiion was comfortable, clean and warm. And the access was good.

Absolutely everything from start to finish was impeccable. The friendly professional staff, the exquisite accomodation, the food and service were outstanding. The game drive was excellent with lion; cheetah; elephants; giraffes and so much more. Sunset drinks on the drive, knowledgeable guide.

Amazing stay, completely immersed into the wild nature with an huge set of comfort. The room was cleaned and furnished, and the staff always kind and available to support all your needs. Our safaris with Marie were perfect (thanks Marie for all the info on the animals!), and the dinner and breakfast in the Serengeti room were stunning!

Highly recommend. The lodge was very welcoming and organised. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I stayed in a deluxe chalet, it was comfortable and well stocked with little luxuries. Tim our safari guide was the highlight of our visit. He was informative and showed respect to his guests and the animals. I went away learning so much about South African fauna and flora.

The bathroom is directly connected inside the room without a roof partition which in turn causes the odors from the bathroom use to see into the room which causes discomfort.

The rooms were cozy and the atmosphere was pleasant. We had two safari games with our stay and we enjoyed them and got to see a lot of animals.

We loved our stay at the Garden Route Game Lodge so so much - they included so many little extras that made the trip so incredible. We loved our game drives, and the guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. We really appreciated the extra effort in them providing snacks for the kids and hot water bottles for the cold morning drive. The food was incredible. We are already planning when we will be back.

I think this is a re-arrange game reserve where they show you based on your stay, if you book two day, you will see all animals while one day stay, you will not see them all, Also its like a zoo in open area, good for kids and exploring and getting knowledge about how animals lives and survive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Garden Route Game Lodge — everything from the game drives to the service was excellent. The only downside was the food, which was a bit underwhelming compared to the overall high standard. Still, the experience was great and we’d love to come back!
