We loved everything!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Forest Hills! The rooms are modern, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need—smart TV, fridge, microwave, kettle—far more than a typical hotel room. The area is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by lovely homes, facing the waterfront, and located in a very safe, secured neighborhood just minutes from shops, cafes, and with easy access to the highway and Garden Route. What truly made our stay exceptional was the kindness and hospitality of the host and owner. They went above and beyond—personally helping us arrange a local safari on a day it seemed impossible, making direct calls and working it out for us. Their generosity, warmth, and dedication to their guests really stood out. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Forest Hill, an absolute gem!

Housekeeper did not come to empty the bin and take out our dirty dishes as there are no facilities to do the dishes ourselves.

Walking from the parking area to my room down all those stairs with my suitcase.

The room was amazing, neat clean and comfortable bed.

We had to ask for a turn over and we had to bring our own milk. But that was fine once we were prepared.

The trees and the birds and the wonderful view. It was gorgeous. Much appreciated the nature. Oh and the Netflix was also really nice to have.

It is to be expected that there are quite a few spiders and bugs outside the room based on the location being so close to a forestry area and we don't like bugs as we are city folk. Nothing a swift splat with a shoe couldn't fix though.

A'Mourize was an exceptional host who took very good care of us and answered any questions or concerns we might have had. Beautiful accommodation in a great central location.

The room was very humid and cold. As there is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom, all the steam from the shower just makes the whole room very damp. Adding a small heating or a sliding door between the bathroom and the bedroom would make a big difference for sure :)

The room was tastefully decorated, and the bed was done every morning. We also enjoyed the nice view on the ocean from the bedroom's window. We had good communication with the host, and the house keeper was helpful.
