South Africa1 review“Beautiful place with a 'cabin/hotel' feel.”No lights in the 'forest pathways' at night and the rooms felt a little bit dated. The door handle didn't work and the bathroom window didn't close.
Location is stunning! Pool area is beautiful, staff are very kind, food was great!

The room seems old and there wasnt even a aircon in our room and the standard wooden size double bed also had a few days to many on them and then the shower bath combo is also long gone.
The location was good and surprisingly I must say I did enjoy my breakfast and the view was beautiful. This must have been a great place to stay in the 1970's but sadly the years took its toll

The staff was friendly and tried to do their best for all the shortcomings.. They doubled up and tried to do as best as they can. Waiters was very slow as there was only 2 so breakfast was disappointing

Spacious rooms nestled in the lovely countryside. Very central location… our flight was delayed so we managed to get some rest at the hotel. It’s close to the airport and highway.

The bathroom was not great - mouldy shower, no toilet roll holder, no extractor fan, no soap holder in shower. It’s not sound proof, we could hear our neighbours and there was no aircon. On our first night the restaurant was unable to prepare two meal options we chose. We were unable to watch tv due to too many users logged in to the Netflix account. I would recommend a bar fridge in each room, even the standard rooms. On our second and third day the restaurant was out of plunger coffee, leaving us with a tea pot of hot water and instant coffee. The staff were super friendly and did their best to make our stay comfortable but they always seemed to be running around and disorganised.

No ambience, maybe have soft music playing and at night barman had to be at front desk so bar was unattended most of the time.

The Staff where super accommodating if it was not for Caroline the receptionist and the General manager Daniel we would have found alternative accommodation.
