Great location, friendly and helpful staff

The water was cold for 2 days which is half of my stay, also for room service my family were informed after placing an in room dining to come pick up the dinner when it was ready which was no acceptable, as they were told no staff is available to bring the food, but were my family members supposed to walk until there? anyways the problem was solved after they had to argue and be upset about that, thats when the whole staff showed for fixing the water and bringing the food. I booked the place for them based on a previous experience in 2023 where my experience was very smooth but unfortunately they didn’t have the same experience

The stairs. I appreciate that golfers are fit and that my room was only on the first floor but they were an issue for me. But that is a very personal issue and should mot be seen as a criticism of the hotel.

Not much of an issue, but sometimes when the Golf crowds come through, it can be noisy in the restaurant.

The spacious rooms, clean ambience and the Fireplace with adequate stocks of firewood. The weather was a bit chilly. The Main Restaurant- where breakfast is served is quite good. Their dinner options there are quite diverse

The room was a good size but tired and the bathroom tile floor dangerous when wet… shower door not sealed and water ran out onto the floor …

A real 5 star experience. We are not golfers but enjoyed a restful weekend here as part of a 3 week trip in South Africa. You are greeted on the door by very friendly staff and offered a drink. Our suite was exceptional as was the food and the lovely walks around the grounds. Treat yourself and stay at Fancourt to break up your journey on the garden route.

Not a lot to do except golf, but that’s why you go here so not a negative thing. Limited to the restaurants there but for 2 nights again not a deal breaker since all of them are good.

Went to play golf for a couple days, amazing resort. We stayed in room 3101 nice living room with fireplace with wood setup, couch 2 chairs and a round table, small terrace off the back looking out over garden. Refrigerator and bar area on back wall of living room, atrium between bedroom and large bathroom. Large bedroom comfort and quiet, peaceful place. Service impeccable from everhone great breakfast buffet or a la carte, nice restaurants, and shops, spa was booked so we couldn’t go. Fabulous garden grounds for walks. Great main bar with terrace. Great golf highly recommend the links. Will go back to play again if in SA again!

A perfect location for your gold holiday! Some of the best courses in SA around the hotel makes it a must visit for all golfers! The hotel rooms were very big, modern and clean. The staff at the whole hotel and golf is very friendly! See you soon.

Booking the Spa was a bit difficult - it seems to be very popular as the full slots were consistently book- the spa team made a plan though .

I liked the environment of the hotel and the facilities such as the tennis court, the gym and the gaming tools in the club, I like the cycling tour in the mooring time as well, also I like the verity of the restaurants, we didn't have to go out side the resorts for lunch or dinner.

I must have missed the clear focus on the golfing fraternity when I booked this. Hover, this is genuinely a lovely hotel in a very nice setting.

beautiful setting in pristine grounds surrounding a golf course. Room was large and bed very comfortable with all amenities you'd expect of a 5*. Food was good too. I think this is probably a golfers paradise but not so much for us. no complaints - just saying!
