Did not like the super old furniture. The bed had a wooden base frame which we kept bumping into. The shower was very small - shower door opened inwards which was very awkward to get in. Also did not like the separate taps for hot and cold water.

Loved the location - crisp cool air was very refreshing. Beautiful views. Loved having our morning coffee on the balcony. Valley of the Pools and Mangwanani Spa was the highlight of my weekend. Liked the separate area with a dressing table and large mirror. Easy to get around with the golf cart. Lodge restaurant - the curries were great.

Towels were not clean (first use) they left a stench on the body after use. I used the beach towels as well, same issue. That’s the only thing that was a disappointment.

The property is gorgeous, our room was very spacious and we had access to the resort’s activities. The staff is exceptionally helpful and so professional.

That we couldn’t drive down to valley of the pools because we didn’t have access through the booms. Yes we can take a shuttle but we would then have to pay. This should rather be included in the cost of your stay.

The room we stayed in at the Lodge needs some TLC. Two chairs were broken. Then there is a very odd setup in the bathroom. There is a huge area with only the toilet in it, and the only towel rail is mounted right behind the toilet. It’s just odd and needs to be redone. There is ample space for towel rails away from the toilet.

Zimbali itself is beautiful and the staff are highly professional and courteous.

Our room was a little noisier than usual this time as someone who lives within Zimbali Coastal Resort was having a party. Room also didnt have vanity plugpoints in the bathroom like some of the other rooms.

We had dinner at the restaurant this time around, which was really good. Loved sitting next to the fireplace. It was very peaceful. All staff we dealt with were very professional and friendly. Breakfast as always was a winner!

The bathroom especially the shower was too small i could not move around. The fact that you can't park next to the room and wait for the cart is a bit inconveniencing as sometimes you only had one cart driver and the waiting was unnecessary. Consider adding drivers etc

I didn’t love that the rooms were detached and required golf carts to access. While it added a unique touch, it made checking out a bit frustrating. we had to wait quite a while for the carts to collect us and our luggage.

Warmest staff ever ,in the various roles.Zimbali is a whole adventure,had good fun within the property.security is tops!!Nice facilities,girl slept on a King Bed🥰 Thandi's restaurant gave me a sweet treat for my birthday during breakfast,I was humbled at the gesture 🎉☺️ highlight of my stay !!

Sadly no additional blankets in the room and no complementary amenities.

Staff by far exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Food at Thandi's was delicious. Rooms need some upgrading which I believe is in the pipeline.
