I had the most pleasant and memorable stay! The two most important factors I usually look for during my hotel booking are cleanliness and security (location). I booked two rooms (one ocean view, one mountain view). I was surprised by how clean and secure the place is. In addition to that, the view from both sides was spectacular! I can not recommend this place enough; they literally care about every single detail, which made our stay the best ever. In addition to having a very beautiful ocean and mountain views, this guesthouse has a very beautiful, calm atmosphere, beautiful decoration, great facilities, high-quality equipment, and the room preparation is very nice with a bed that has heated sheets! and the continental breakfast. We come every evening to find a very delicious cake waiting for us, what a kindness! Thank you so much for the great team Manager Mrs. Sarie and Mr. Lyl and all the staff for the hospitality that you showered us with! I can't wait to visit you again!

We had the most amazing time at Escape to the Beach. The name says it all - it was indeed the escape Hubby and I needed. The hospitality and warmth of Sarie, Lyl and the team was top notch. Thanks a lot for an awesome time, great chats and for a place I would certainly be back to! Just stunning!

This is an absolute gem of a small hotel with beautiful rooms (in our case overlooking the sea) and extreemly helpful staff. Nothing being to much trouble. The breakfast was superb and the hotel fixtures and upkeep top notch. A real quality venue.

The property was stylish, superbly equipped, and in an amazing setting on the edge of the ocean… Sarie and her team made our stay memorable .. their friendliness, dedication to guests and excellent breakfasts will be remembered forever!!

Everything was just 100 percent. From the moment we arrived at this boutique beachfront hotel, we were swept away by its charm, elegance, and attention to detail. If you're looking for a destination that offers perfection across the board—location, food, service, ambiance, and decor—look no further. The hotel has uninterrupted views of the ocean. We were even lucky enough to spot the dolphins swimming in the waves. Breakfast was amazing offering a great variety, including gluten-free options for me. We were warmly received by Sarie and her team and they made us feel like honoured guests in their home. It is rare to find service so seamless and sincere. Thoughtfully curated interiors that set a tranquil yet refined atmosphere. Perfect relaxes beachside accommodation with upscale luxury. Escape to the Beach is not just a hotel to stay - it is an experience. We did not want to leave.

We had a great stay, with its perfect location right on the ocean. We highly recommend booking a room with an ocean view – waking up to that scenery was a real highlight. We were even lucky enough to spot dolphins. The breakfast was truly amazing, with a great variety and excellent quality. The service was also outstanding. The staff were extremely kind and went out of their way to prepare an early breakfast for us on our departure day, as we had to leave very early. It was a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming experience. We’d be happy to return!

The accommodation was absolutely stunning — modern, yet cosy and thoughtfully designed. Every detail felt both luxurious and functional. The service was outstanding; Sarie and Lyle are exceptional hosts who truly make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. I could easily have stayed for weeks if I had the chance. Plus, the beautiful views and easy access to the beach made the experience even more perfect. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

The property was absolutely incredible and the views cannot be described... Really a perfect location! The staff were amazing and I would have wanted to stay there longer if i could.

This place is better than it looks in the pictures. It has a very modern, clean interior. You have access to lots of different food and drinks for free. It is right on the gorgeous Wilderness beach, we saw dolphins from our room. But even if you didn’t have a beach facing room you could sit on the patio and watch the beach. It was wonderful. The staff are lovely and helpful. Very friendly. Had helpful recommendations of things to do.

The property is amazing! The house is next to the beach with amazing view and has a heated pool with sunbeds. The interior is very stylish and you have everything you could wish for. The breakfast was great too, with so many different choices. Sarie is a wonderful host and made sure that we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property!

This was such a special place and one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa. The space itself was perfect, incredibly stylish, comfortable and with fantastic amenities. And the views of the beach and sea were breathtaking - we even got to see some dolphins. A special thank you to Lyl, Sarie and all the staff who took care of us and preparing one of the nicest breakfasts we’ve ever had. We’ll certainly be back when we’re next come to South Africa!

It was a fabulous place to stay on fabulous beachfront. Everything was magical! Very stylish place to stay with beautiful decor throughout and gorgeous rooms and view.
