We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaIt would be nice if there were facilities for dirty dishes to be set aside or rinsed, especially fatty meal plates. This is a standard shortcoming of similar self-catering accommodations. We left ours outside to be cleared away the next day so they won't attract insects or cause an odour inside. Standard toiletries were not provided, possibly because of our super short-notice booking or shorter notice upgrade. We will stay there again.
Nick upgraded us to the Magnitude Suite (unprompted). Linah was marvellous when she checked us in. Beautiful, quiet, not very modern (perfect). We enjoyed the pool. The host supplied braai facilities on short notice. Mosquito net. Large shower with water that runs hot immediately. Comfortable layout and furniture. Water feature in the garden attracted some common birds so we could enjoy them and the sounds from the room. Sufficient doors and windows to ensure an effective draft. Lovely location. Amazing two nights' sleep.

South AfricaPictures posted on booking.com is out of date. Eg. Beautiful photo of swimming pool. Looks terrible in real life. Not that I want to swim in July. The place is not in a good condition. Facilities to prepare a meal is non existent. Very small microwave and kettle. Not even a toaster. No sink, soap and cloths to wash cups, cutlery.. Had to wash my cup in the bathroom basin. Barbeque and hairdryer on the list, but where not there at arrival. Had to ask for it.
