They claim to be involved in the reproduction of rare endangered animals, but in reality, they keep these rare animals in cages and show them to tourists. To me, it feels very much like a zoo, which in my opinion is borderline legal.

The main bathroom only a bath tub - there is no shower or even hand shower in the bathtub, so all 4 of us had to use the one shower in the other bathroom. The lounge furniture needs replacing as the couch is completely sunken in and can't really be used. There's 2 wicker chairs but they don't have chair pads, so are a bit hard.

The lodge is really nice, and if you stay in the Windfall Cottage as we did, you have a great view of all the cats, which was a real treat. All the staff from the security, to the reception staff, to the chef and waiters are excellent - they are so friendly, patient and make you feel very welcome. We only tried one meal which was dinner, but it was very tasty. The cottage itself is very spacious and well stocked. Our favourite was the fire pit outside which was stocked with wood for us every day. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

it's not self catering, and the ability to bbq is difficult. if you want aomething light to eat, you need to leave the premises as the units are not set up to prepare something light like a sandwich.

Location is great, coupled with friendly and very accommodating saff and comfort.

The food tasted good , however, I feel they could have be a bit more options both on ala carte menu and buffet. But otherwise the taste of each dish we ate was very good. Can’t fault it.

The rooms were clean. The property is very well kept and clean. We loved sitting at the main sitting area which is very cosy. The pool is cleaned daily and is clean. The staff was very helpful especially Rebecca who went out of the way to answer any questions we had about our next Dec stay. Nyaradzo was also very helpful. We loved staying here that we extended our stay by another day.

In an upmarket room it was disappointing that there were only two little 20 ml Parmalat milk sachets. These were just enough for one cup of tea. Also penny pinching was the five tiny shortbread nibbles in a huge jar. Two rusks would have been fine. The toilet seat was thin, cheap plastic. All the above contrasted with beautiful luxurious bath towels, a super shower and bed, etc.

Room 45 was outstanding! Spacious, modern and very clean, with an extremely comfortable bed and lovely bathroom.
