Eve thing was excellent!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at MILIMA in June 2025, in the beautiful Two-Bedroom Villa. From start to finish, our experience was truly exceptional. I would like to give special thanks to Katelyn Phillips, who assisted me with my reservation and warmly welcomed us upon arrival. She was incredibly attentive, always responding promptly and kindly to my emails. Her professionalism and friendly attitude made the whole booking process seamless and reassuring. We were also fortunate to have Thomas as our game driver during the three days of our stay. He is an outstanding person and a true professional—extremely polite, cheerful, kind, and attentive. His deep knowledge of the wildlife and expertise in tracking animals truly enhanced our safari experience. His explanations were always insightful, and he went above and beyond to make every moment memorable. I'd like to thank the kitchen staff for their wonderful attention and warm hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay at MILIMA and are already looking forward to returning soon. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience!

The cost of transfer between the property and the airport is too high

There is nothing negative I have to say about this property. One minor note is that In the Manor 1 bathroom, the bathroom sink water build up very fast and does not drain at all normal rate. This can be fixed with a quick de-clog however it does not change my positive opinion about the property.

The property was beautiful! The landscaping was stunning with lush greenery and flowers around. The property was clean and well kept at all times. The standard of cleanliness was too notch and the views overlooking the open space of Kruger Park were exceptional.

They could have provided more warm clothing options for the morning and night rides. It gets cold! We saw some other companies have jackets and warmer blankets. I think that would be great for them to put some investment into. We also didn't like how a couple of the guides "agitated" the animals to get a reaction out of them. Maybe it's a different custom from where we come from but that is not something we liked.

The staff were fantastic and the food and accommodations were great. We were able to see so many amazing animals.

Nothing to add, it was amazing!

PLEASE READ! This lodge is incredible, the reviews speak for themself. I’m always cautious about reviews and I do leave quite truthful and blunt reviews myself. EVERYTHING was magical! We were greeted at the airport for the transfer with a smile and beautiful drive to the lodge. Upon arrival our luggage was taken to the villa and we had welcome drinks, a description of the lodge, surroundings and itinerary. We had a quick lunch which was trout stuffed with veg and then off on our 1st game drive. Our game driver named Prem was brilliant, I can’t rave enough about just how great he was. His knowledge of the area and his enthusiasm to find the big 5 for us was exactly what we needed. Blankets were provided as it gets cold when the sun sets. After seeing numerous animals we stopped off for a glass of wine with a beautiful backdrop watching the sun sink behind the mountains. We had pre dinner drinks at the bar and the dinner that night was fantastic, it was a BBQ outdoors with a fire in the middle and cute tables. The food was divine, as was the wine! Up early in the morning for our pre game coffee and chat with other guests before another game drive where we spotted so much. Quick pit stop for coffee with another beautiful view from up high. We managed to spot the BIG 5 as well as a close up with a leopard and a hyena! I didn’t feel like I had a moment to rest around the pool area (that’s not a bad thing) as so many animals turn up to the water hole I was up with my camera! We also saw the cheeky money steal grapes and a banana from the restaurant and run up a tree haha! We stayed in Villa 1 which was everything we could have wanted. The staff keep it spotless and can’t do enough for you, thank you to those! Just to add, the breakfast buffet was lovely, I ate so much because it was so tasty! I just want to thank everyone who works there, for their hard work and dedication to make sure guests have the best time!

Everything was perfect

It was the best experience of my life!!! The lodge, the staff, our ranger Prim, the waterhole, the food, Alucia and Marvelous, the energy, the dog, everything was perfect! We got to see the Big 5, our guide was the best ever! I would definely recommend the Milima Lodge, they receive a few guests at a time so everyone chat with each other, I really made friends for life in that place! Im overwhelmed and so grateful! ❤️

We visited Milima as part of our honeymoon and would do it 100% again! We had an amazing stay- we managed to see the big 5 plus much much more. Shawn was a great guide - he told us a lot about the nature during our drives. Food & drinks were also amazing and the complete staff super lovely!

I was in MILIMA with my boyfriend , Keelan. We love everything about MILIMA. The food, the staff, the game drives with Sidney.. We saw the big five! Incredible lodge! The staff were fabulous, traditional lodges with comfortable beds, delicious food and a beautiful pool. We felt so relaxed and comfortable here, the staff were so welcoming and the game drives fantastic! Will hopefully be back again soon!

It was pure understated elegance and a wonderful experience. The food and the staff were amazing. Every day was different: outdoor braai, elegant dinner, casual lunch .. etc. We tried Kudu and Ostrich and local dishes like Bobooti. It was lovely. Pool is lovely and overlooking a waterhole where elephants would always gather. Safari drives weee excellent. We saw hippo and buffalo and lions and elephants and giraffes and water hog and rhino and zebra and kudu and impala and baboon and crocodile … only thing we didn’t spot was the leopard. Will definitely come again. Staff were incredible too.

Our stay at Milima Safari Lodge in Kruger was absolutely unforgettable! Sean was the best game drive host—knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure we had incredible sightings, including the Big 5. The chef was very accommodating of our vegetarian dietary needs, especially as we were travelling with kids, which we truly appreciated. A minor issues with the room were resolved promptly, and the staff was consistently friendly and courteous. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this lodge for anyone visiting Kruger!

More lights on the way to and from the dining area to the villas in the evening.

All Meals were delicious. Location is good. They have a watering hole near the pool and dining area where you can see animals drinking. On our first day, 5 giraffes, 2 elephants, impalas drank water. In just 2 safari drives, we saw the big 5. Our park ranger did his best to locate the animals.

What an AMAZING place. If you are searching through the many places to do your safari - stop looking and book MILIMA. It was incredible. We saw the Big 5 on multiple drives. Our guide, Sidney, was amazing. He made such an effort to find animals and listening to his stories and bush knowledge was a treat. Being an all inclusive, everything is taken care of for you (including two game drives each day) and the schedule is the same each day which is nice. All meals were excellent, and the pool is a great spot to enjoy a beer, cool off, and watch animals come and go. The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help and take care of you. We stayed in one of the tents, and would highly recommend!
