The current Reserve understandably offers limited exposure to game in context -- with expansion plans shared however, this should put Duiker up there with the best in the area. Duiker anyway presents as an excellent place from where to base oneself for other attractions in the area.

Evening meals were superb, as was the breakfast fare. Staff are extremely guest-centric in everything they do, from admin, through cleaning staff, to the game drive & game walk hosts (specifically Sifiso) -- friendly and professional at all times.

We had the most wonderful stay at Duiker Game Lodge. Such lovely staff. Warm and welcoming hospitality at its best!! The meals were top-notch and plentiful. We saw a good variety of Game on all our game drives and Sipiso, our guide, was very knowledgeable about not only the Game, but also the trees, birds and other points of interest. We highly recommend this lodge, and we will most certainly be back in the near future.

The road to the lodge could have been better. We also had to wait 20 mins to get in the gate as we got voicemail on the telephone.

The location is beautiful, only 25 min from Hluhluwe. The view from the terrace is stunning, The room is comfortable and very clean. Excellent food. They don’t have the big 5 in the game reserve, but the game drive is very interesting, the guides are very knowledgeable. Marli is absolutely the sweetest, the staff is always smiling and ready to assist. I would go back tomorrow! Super recommended!

The rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff were attentive and very helpful. the game drives were beautiful and insightful with the snack at the end of the trail. The food was amazing, the chef catered to our needs. Theres also a pool and lovely scenery with animals walking around! Beautiful stay

Great pre communication. Dietary requirements taken into consideration and alternative meals provided. Spacious beautifully decorated rooms and common areas. Pleasant game drive. Great, friendly and extremely polite staff. Bonus was a car wash. Value for money and a well kept property. Highly recommend.

Loved the peace and quiet at the Lodge, was bliss just sitting on the veranda and watching warthogs and buck grazing and birds and crickets chirping away, very relaxing.

Not a big deal, but unfortunately as the lodge is in a smaller reserve adjacent to Hluhluwe they don't have the Big 5, only common antelope - but game drives in Hluhluwe Reserve itself can be arranged.

Beautiful quaint accommodation with lovely decor & finishings. Setting is very peaceful overlooking a lovely escarpment. All our meals were wonderful. Dinner in particular was really great - compliments to the chef! We loved the fact that it's a smaller lodge hence more boutique and quiet. Service was excellent, all the staff were very helpful and kind. The game drives were great, Sifiso was very knowledgeable and good fun!
