Beautiful setting, gorgeous accommodation, really well appointed. Lovely communal space and decor. Delicious food and wonderful service from Charl and the ladies. We also had a super wine tasting session from Charl which was very informative. Would absolutely recommend this fabulous place!!

We had a fantastic time at Deux Frères Luxury Villas! We stayed for two nights and honestly wished we had more time to enjoy everything the property has to offer. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, so we couldn’t make use of the stunning pool, but that just gives us a reason to come back! Our arrival went very smoothly. We traveled from Cape Town and were in touch with Charl from the start, what an incredible host! We let him know we’d be arriving earlier than expected, and he was more than happy to accommodate us. Charl was extremely welcoming, gave us a full tour of the villa and its surroundings, and made us feel right at home. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful, spacious, well-equipped, and designed with great attention to detail. You truly get more than what you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We only wish we had more time to enjoy every corner of this amazing place! The stay also included a wine tasting, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Charl took the time to explain the wines, the story behind the estate, its owners, and the region. It was both educational and a lot of fun, we really appreciated the experience. And the breakfast… wow! No words! It was absolutely delicious, generous portions, beautifully presented, and everything tasted amazing. Huge compliments to the lady who prepared it, she truly outdid herself! Highly recommend staying here.

We adored our honeymoon stay at Deux Freres and only wish we could have stayed longer! From the smooth and easy check in experience with Charl who was super welcoming, complete with a glass of wine from their vineyard, to the stunning and spacious grounds including a pool, huge and gorgeously decorated bedroom suite (only one of two on the property, which we loved!) where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning in our own private conservatory, and last but by no means least the three friendly dogs, we couldn’t fault a thing! We hope to return in the future and recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful and bespoke stay in the Stellenbosch area.

They do indicate that dinners can be provided, but on check-in they did not sound too keen. Luckily Stellenbosch not too far away

The breakfasts were server on the patio which is a nice touch. The choices are also great, however the one morning we ordered tea and that was not provided, and the croissants were also over baked and bone dry. For the rest it is on par with many upmarket hotels. The complimentary bottle of wine is also a nice touch.

Amazing place where service and tranquility reins. Twice daily rooom cleaning service, perfect breakfast on your own porch and gorgious setting amidst vineyards. By far the best place I’ve ever lodged.

Charl went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional stay. He was always available for anything we needed, making the experience seamless and stress-free. The rooms were immaculate, and the staff around the villas were attentive and welcoming. We also enjoyed a fantastic wine tasting with a beautifully curated charcuterie board. Charl even arranged efficient transportation to and from the villas, adding to the overall convenience. From start to finish, our stay was nothing short of incredible—I highly recommend this for anyone seeking a personalized and memorable getaway.

For dinner you have to give notice 48hrs in advance. If you want dinner spontaneously they can order something from an Italian place.

Charl and his team were the most welcoming people. The personal wine tasting was a highlight. It is a great location to explore all the winery’s or to just relax and unwind. We definitely recommend this special place.

The lovely pool could have been cleaned better on the surface (leaves, dead insects) Water pressure of the shower could have been a bit better.

Large room & superbe king bed! Breakfast served to the cosy room patio. Very helpful & friendly host (Thank you very much, Charl!). Great privacy in a wonderful garden with free drinks in the afternoon. Complimentary wine tasting 😋

Though the breakfast delivered in the room was very tasty, it would have been great to have more variety. In addition, the bathroom amenities could be more exclusive to match the luxurious feel of the rest of the villa. A little table outside the villa to enjoy the morning coffee while soaking the breathtaking surrounded garden would be the cherry on the cake

Our stay at Deux Frèrer was nothing short of amazing. The vila offers a perfect blend of luxury and exclusivity, creating an intimate and serene atmosphere that truly feels like a private getaway. The staff‘s attention to detail and genuine care made our experience even more special. They want above and beyond to ensure we felt pampered and well taken care of throughout our stay. The complimentary wine tasting was delightful and gave us the opportunity to taste the exceptional wines made here. The added perks of laundry services and breakfast served in the room made us feel even more at home.

The towels need to be changed, they are in very bad condition. There are 3 dogs on the property, I didn't see this information when booking. They are wonderful and kind but my husband has allergies. In today's world, unfortunately, many people have allergies and it's better to inform about animals in advance.

I liked how the staff responded to all my requests. They adjusted to my dinner time, prepared mats for me for morning workout. They added vegetables to our breakfast at our request. Thank you very much for this! I liked the wine tasting, the silence and the people who run the place!

The elegance of the property. The room, conservatory, pool and surroundings are stunning and feel extremely premium. Free wine tasting, one on one experience felt very special. It was easily our favourite wine tasting experience as it felt completely authentic which lacked elsewhere(big Thankyou to sharl) . We loved the dogs too . They are completely friendly

Everything! I cannot recall to have ever given 10/10 for a hotel but there was nothing missing! Large modern, yet cosy, rooms with all the amenities you need. (Incl choices about pillows or take away breakfast, complementary wine etc).Beautiful property to walk around at or use the pool. The complementary wine tasting was amazing, and the stuff was beyond nice and helpful, we felt truly comfortable and would come back any time. Location is also perfect to explore the area, it is peaceful and quiet- yet close to the town with resteraunts etc if needed

Duex Freres is a slice of heaven. The two rooms are gorgeous, we stayed with friends and had the whole place to ourselves which was amazing. From the moment you arrive nothing is too much for Charl and the staff there. The rooms and property are so beautiful, the included wine tasting is delicious and a great introduction to the area. All the food, breakfast, dinner and charcuterie board were outstanding and beautiful presentation. Small details like choosing your own pillow type and free laundry service make this place a very high level experience. We will definitely be returning to this gorgeous vineyard and villas
