Inga was the best host attending to every need. Food was 5 Star and rooms beautifully decorated with the best linen. Cannot wait te revisit this property. Was sad to leave.

Everything! Decoration, attention to details, delicious breakfast with homemade granola & sourdough bread, just to name a few. Inge and Albert went out of their way to make our stay magical. We were a group of 5 and we all loved our stay. Definitely the place to stay in Prince Albert. Also we forgot a jacket and Inge straight away organized a courrier to send it back to us. Thank you for giving us such a fabulous time 🙏

Albert and Inga are wonderful hosts with a lot of knowledge about the area and surrounds. But most of all I must compliment there guesthouse as being one of the best if not the best I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail and tasteful furnishing is just really exceptional. The breakfast served in the glass house with beautiful mountain and garden views was also extremely delicious with lots of various food options.

It’s authentic and luxurious with that special Karoo feel. Inge and Albert have done it right, and are excellent hosts! They gave us superb recommendations for dinners, drives etc. Special place owner driven by special people. Already looking forward to our next stay!!

Some guests might like a TV, but we didn't miss it!

We travel a lot, globally, and this is one of our top places to stay. The passion which Inga and Albert have for hospitality excellence is evidenced in every aspect, and in every little detail. Our room was in the oldest part of this historic homestead and it was very spacious, well furnished, spotlessly clean, and characterful. The quality and presentation of the breakfast was excellent, as was the service. The produce was local, and we had breakfast outdoor under the shade of trees, surrounded by lovely plants and running water. The staff we interacted with were top-notch, and it felt like there was great teamwork. Owners, Inga and Albert, were highly attentive and very helpful with bookings, recommendations, helping with bags, and chatting. Their example is a template for how to run a guest house!

This was the perfect place to stay. Beautiful room in a lovely building, decorated with exquisite taste. The staff were as friendly as they could be and the breakfast was delicious and had everything we could want. This was a highlight of our trip through the Karoo and is most highly recommended.

We stayed here on the recommendation of our good friends. We were really touched by the warm welcome from the owners. Beautifully decorated, stylish rooms perfectly combined with modern amenities. Everything was incredibly tasteful, with an amazing sense of detail. It was truly a pleasure for the soul. The breakfast served in the garden by the stream was absolutely magical. The food was delicious and you could see that every little detail had been carefully considered. We have stayed in different places all over the world, but we will never forget this fabulous accommodation. If we ever have a chance to travel around again, we will definitely stay here again. Everything was perfect.

We stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. An oasis in the Karoo. Lovely and very friendly and helpful hosts in a perfect and relaxed setting. Breakfast was superb and Prince Albert and the Swartberg Pass were real gems.
