Everything was amazing and beat expectations! We got the room that was facing the driveway so a bit of compromise on the privacy but the view of the mountains made up for it! The breakfast was GREAT! It was a wonderful spread and we couldn’t finish it, wish we had extra bellies ! The wine cellar was great and I love how we can help ourselves to everything in the fridges… Service was amazing and the staff were so friendly. I would go back again!

Great location between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Huge rooms with beautiful views of the mountains from the patio. Great, friendly and helpful staff. Evening light meals preordered were delicious. Adrian who was our driver was fabulous and his recommendation for Oldenburg vineyard the next day was excellent. Didn’t want to leave!

Absolutely nothing to complain about because everything was perfect :)

We had the perfect three days at this beautiful Lodge and can only HIGHLY recommend it! It was such a nice experience, very private and the staff was super nice! Sophie the cat was just the sweetest and even though it was raining on one day, we enjoyed sitting at the fire place with a glass of red wine! The rooms are very nice and the bed was super comfortable! The view is STUNNING, sitting outside watching how the sun goes down behind the hills was breathtaking. We really loved everything about this lodge and were very sad to leave! You dont feel like you are one of a hundred visitors because it is very private! We will for sure come back next year and stay at this beautiful lodge again :) Thank you for those amazing three days!

Everyone was so attentive and it was the perfect spot for our honeymoon! Very relaxing and calm and super great facilities! Some vineyards are even walkable

- We didn't have the best view from our room, but it didn't matter at all, as the rest of the facility was accessible to us - The pool was freezing cold, but this seems to be a trends throughout South Africa

This property is outstanding. The view of the beautiful mountain range in the distance, the kind and very accommodating staff, the facilities as well as the decor! De Zeven is a beautiful, peaceful hotel in an idyllic location. The views are spectacular and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It was easy to get Ubers at any time of day and only 10 minutes into Stellenbosch.

The AC could be a bit more powerful, beds weren't fully made in the morning, breakfast omelette oddly seems to skimp on eggs. To come back on the staff this is the only hotel we stayed at in SA where we were asked for a tip during checkout, and several times at that... Felt a bit uncomfortable and pressured into giving one.

This place is so close to greatness! The view is stunning, the rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff (part from one detail) are absolutely lovely! The breakfast is nice though not the best. There is a zen vibe to this place which would definitely have us come again!

I absolutely loved my stay at the guest lodge. It doesn't feel at all like a hotel. It's more like visiting a friends hillside vineyard villa. It's open and airy with amazing views. Tons of sitting space around the public areas. The pool is beautiful overlooking the valley and surround mountains. The breakfast is wonderful. And, the staff is extremely welcoming. My room was large and very comfortable. I loved staying here!
