The hospitality was awesome, ostrich fillet we had the evening was fantastic and the service from Ethan at the bar top notch. Werner and Bernadette welcomed us with smiles and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Will definitely visit the Hotel again.

Breakfast was exceptional, watched the eggs being collected directly from their own hens. Dinner was amazing with ostrich steaks done to your liking or to the chef’s recommendation (perfect). The bar area (not normally our “thing”) was greatly convivial and brought the guests together as the host, Werner entertained and amused us with tales about the Hotel’s beginnings. It’s still a “work in progress” as they lovingly restore the whole place. To us, it can only get better and better! Highly recommended!

We've never stayed in a cleaner place! It was immaculate and beautifully put together.

The welcome was a bit overly familiar. We opted for a hotel booking to avoid the guesthouse/b&b experience and were after something less personal than what we found. It was charming and clean and good, just not what we expected from a hotel booking.

An outstanding feature of our stay at Hotel De Rust was the friendliness of our hosts. Werner and Bernadette are amazing hosts and did everything (and more!) to make us feel welcome and to make sure we enjoy our stay at their hotel.

Lovely owners, friendly bar, very good dinner

No heater in room in winter. No hair dryer, no glasses in room. Fairly new owners told us they have plans to renovate rooms.

The Owners/Hosts are amazing people and made our stay a wonderful experience. A beautiful historical set up taking us down memory lane.

Very warm welcome from Bernadette and Werner at the town hotel they have recently reopened , with plenty of personal service and attention. The meals were just what we needed- warm, nourishing local specialities. The village is very friendly- it was good chatting with the locals in the bar.

Our hosts Bernadette and Werner were very warm and welcoming. They are restoring the hotel lovingly and if you like Old World Chsrm and committed owners, this is the place fir you.

Wow!!! A wonderfully unforgettable stay. The hotel is as warm and wonderful as the hosts. It is a unique hotel experience that we will never forget but often recall fondly.

The Staff was great - assisted with a shower after the event

The Bathroom towels could be upgraded and the toilet handle broke - it seems its an old problem

I was there on business for one night. The room was spotless and the water was super hot on a chilly night. The host was super responsive, even helped me with a new toothbrush as I had forgotten to pack one.
