This was our second stay at De Bergkant. It is beautifully restored and decorated with a pleasant mixture of modern furniture and interesting antiques. The food served for breakfast is superb and the Staff are remarkably attentive. It is very clean and in a very convenient location to restaurants and shopping in Prince Albert.

Let me start with Tracey, thé BEST HOST ever!!! Thank you Tracey - for your kind, smiling and serving nature and personality - De Bergkant wouldn't have been the same without you there... I was in awe of all the homemade treats that you offer guests, this is hospitality at its utmost best! The staff who assist you are also incredible, please thank them again for what they do at De Bergkant. Regarding the room and surroundings - De Bergkant is thé preferred place to stay at Prince Albert. The room and bathroom are beautiful and so well-equipped with the best attention to detail. Outstanding to say the least! The bar, lounge and reading rooms are authentically beautiful. I absolutely fell in love with De Bergkant and will undoubtly visit again ❤️

Our stay at De Bergkant was arguably the best stay we've had- anywhere. We were given a wonderfully refreshing welcome drink upon arrival and a friendly staff member helped us with our luggage to our room. The attention to detail was perfection. Everything about the perfect guest experience was well considered and tastefully done. The staff were exceptionally friendly. We had a drink and the world's greatest toasted cheese- poolside. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone looking for pure tranquility and understated luxury in the beautiful town of Prince Albert.

De Bergkant is an absolute gem and we had a fantastic stay there. Tracey was amazing and went out of her way to make us feel welcome . The wonderful smells of freshly baked goods which we got to enjoy the next day for breakfast. And the breakfasts were just awesome.. The open showers in mid winter could be challenging.

Excellent manager and friendly staff. We were given a really nice room with some lovely unexpected additions. The grounds are spacious with a very generous pool and lots of trees. Also really enjoyed the delicious breakfasts.

We had the most wonderful stay at De Bergkant Guesthouse in Prince Albert. From the moment we arrived, Tracey—the manager and chef—made us feel incredibly welcome. She was not only warm and kind but also extremely knowledgeable about the area, offering helpful tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were absolutely amazing—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making it feel like a true home away from home. Breakfast each morning was outstanding. Tracey’s culinary skills really shine through, and the staff were equally delightful—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. On Tracey’s recommendation, we dined at The Yellow House restaurant, which turned out to be a real gem—delicious food in a lovely setting. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be staying at De Bergkant again. Highly recommended!
