There was an issue with the booking , I suggest they improve thier booking system because my booking was confirmed while there were no rooms available.I am happy that the manager managed the situation better and was given a beautiful penthouse

really glad I upsized to a bigger 2 bedroom room, as they were still quite small/tight space wise. There were a lot of noisy reno works going on while we were there which we didn't know about. Too small a space to get around bed, I caught my leg on the bed edge several times and getting through the doorways was tight and I'm not a big or clumsy person! Weather was good - the pool was freezing!! No tourist desk to help with where to go.

Parking, parking parking. The parking spots are designed for tiny cars especially when negotiating a route to the top under roof area. I experienced damage to the side of my vehicle. The cost is multiple times of my stay. 👎

Food options and quality of service was excellent in all restaurants and at the pool. Welldone, maintain that good service and prize your friendly and very competent staff.

The resort is no longer white in colour. It was recently painted grey which, for me, takes away from the luxury, beach resort vibe. Pictures have not been updated. Was not impressed with service from the front desk.

Great location, right on the beach which has a lovely promenade. Fantastic views. Spacious, well equipped rooms. Many resturants to choose from. Daily servicing of rooms. Activities for kids and adults. Short 20min drive from King Shaka airport. 45mins to Durban.

Water dripping from ceiling close to our room and the environment around the room was not pleasing to look at. Could not open the small window. The room was cold, and there was no heating facility available. We were offered an additional blanket. No telephone directory to call the front desk or short code.

It would be nice if the pools could be warmer, it is very cold. The bedding had a few stains on and that made us feel a little bit uncomfortable, especially because it’s white bedding. The hotel spa and facilities does look overused, would be nice if it could get a new face lift. Parking was a problem. It would be nice if the breakfast menu had more option on or if it could even be a buffet breakfast.

The location is perfect, I like the fact that they busy with renovations and actually making the place look stunning. The pool area is very nice and the staff is also very friendly.

Staff really need to be better skilled at dealing with customers, queries and response times . Items on menus were not available, including rooibos tea for all 4 days that we were there! Need to handle service better when big groups arrive without compromising other guest experiences. Reception staff very slow, not knowledgeable, unable to problem solve. Few were great.

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. If you are looking for accommodation on the beach, amazing food, friendliest staff then this is the place to be. I really don't have any complaints.
