It was an absolute delight. Monique was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the accommodation was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed, with an exceptional lounge area. An additional plus are the two beautiful owls who regularly visit the hotel and look over your stay!

We loved our stay so much, that we decide to cancel our next hotel - losing the money - and adding an extra night at Chateau de Marine. The location is amazing: if you like the outdoors, there is plenty to do around, or just relax and enjoy the ocean. The hotel facilities and rooms are very comfortable, and the family room is amazing. The difficult part is to drag your kids out of the room: bunkbeds, toys, Nintendo. The staff is amazing, helpful and extremely welcoming. The breakfast is simple (not basic), tasty and with just the right variety.

If you are traveling to Struisbaai, and I don't see why you would not, the Chateau de Marine hotel is a perfect place to stay. The staff will do everything to make you feel the most comfortable you can ever be. The breakfast is delicious, the service very personal and sweet. The general manager is a fantastic woman, and she will make you feel at home in a heartbeat. The rooms are spacious and clean. We will be back!

This is a great little hotel to stay in Struisbaai. The location is good, with beautiful ocean views and easy access to the beach. The room was comfortable, well equipped and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good. Definitely a good choice of accommodation for Struisbaai.

The only negative is that I requested a massage upon arrival. I was on a road trip and stoped for shark cage diving so I had no idea what time I would arrive. When was finished and had a better idea of arrival time, I sent them a message that I would be there in about an hour. I received a response thanking me for letting them know. When I arrive at 15:30. The masseuse had just left for the day. That was disappointing. Aside from that everything was wonderful here.

The location is amazing!!! The facilities are safe and assuming externally although wonderful once you are inside.

Absolutely nothing not to like about the hotel. We arrived on a Sunday and there’s not much open in the area.

As you drive in to the hotel it all looks very impressive and then it just gets better and better. The pool area is relaxing and the pool is clean and warm. We spent a lovely evening in the beautiful lounge. The honesty bar is a wonderful idea. The decor is very tasteful.

Our bathroom was tired. Our tap was broken, the shower sent water everywhere and there was nowhere to put anything apart from on the floor so everything got wet.

A wonderful option for a weekend away in Struisbaai. The room is comfortable and having the option to spend time in the lounge area or at the pool adds to the experience. Monique is an excellent and most attentive host. She suggested a restaurant and helped to book a table and was always available and friendly.
