The spa was the only thing that I did not find outstanding.

Absolutely magnificent resort. Situation is breathtaking, staff were attentive and friendly. Food absolutely delicious. Hikes well planned and something to do for everyone. Will definitely return.

The location of the resort is ideal for hiking. The plated meals were of exceptional quality and the staff are super friendly. We loved the evening wine tasting.

There's no wifi and cell signal in the room at all

Nestled at the foot of the mountain. Rooms and bathrooms were well appointed and comfortable. Staff were very polite and helpful. The food was excellent

We had a leaking toilet during our stay. It was repaired but started leaking again the next day.

On this occasion I struggled to find anything on the dinner menu to eat, no fault of the property (food is always great and well presented), I am just a very fussy eater and don't always find something I eat on the menu, the deserts always come to the rescue.

Everything was perfect as always, the staff go out of their way to make you feel special, pity we could only stay one night on this occasion, we have already booked our next visit in May 2026.

The landscape is amazing. The hikes are very nice. The hotel is wonderful for kids and families to hang out.

Nothing! But we are fully mobile - the movement between accommodation and entertainment buildings could be a problem for less fortunate guests.

The friendly and capable staff gave us a warm welcome. The property is well equipped and excellently maintained.

The Cavern was as special as it always has been. A wonderful holiday experience in the berg. The meals were superb. Lead hikes very professional, informative and fun.

Could have done with a shower cap in the room and some body lotion. Also ordered tea when we came back from our morning walk and we were charged for it as we just after the tea time and before lunch. Considering what we paid for our weekend, and the distance we travelled to get there, we felt that this should have been included. The porridge needed a bit of salt - was very bland. The above just constructive feedback - we loved our stay!

All meals were excellent -nicely portioned and very tasty. Great selection of wine and loved the wine cellar. The grounds and walks and facilities were all great. Can see how it would be easy to spend a whole week here! Staff very friendly. Enjoyed the quiz. Beds were comfy and rooms / bathrooms nicely renovated and decorated.

We like how everything from the beautiful walks ,attentive staff , of course delish food at every meal ,comfortable rooms with great views ,even the dogs were friendly .
