We loved everything about the cottage, but missed a little table to sit at, and a mirror in the sleeping area. Cheryl appreciated our feedback.

We were there for just one night. Loved the airy simplicity and colourful vibe and cat theme throughout, and that it is within easy walking distance to the sea. It certainly is a very cheerful, unique and cute cottage! The open plan cottage is very spacious, and has all the basics you need for a short stay. A super firm mattress, nice soft supportive pillows, fluffy bath towels, shower gel, hand soap and hand cream are available to use. Cheryl is very friendly, and we enjoyed meeting her cats and doggie too. They are around, but don't bother one. We will definitely stay with her again when we are in the area again.

A charming little flatlet with all the necessary amenities. Cheryl, our host, was lovely, and her cats and dog were charming. Nice and close to the beach and the penguin sanctuary.

Great place to relax and decompress after a long flight from the USA. Loved the cats and dog. Felt like home away from home. Easy access to walks on the beach. Dinner at Camelot was good and walkable distance as well. Very quite community.

It was too short

This beautiful cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s a short stroll to the beach on a nice quiet road. The host was so welcoming and friendly and it felt like we were visiting family.

Cat Nap Cottage is a great location, easy walk to the beach and stunning view of the mountains from the little varanda. Cheryl is an extremely friendly host. The cottage has everything you need, would have loved to stay another night. Close to the shops and restaurants in Betty's and Pringlebay is 15 min drive away with more shops and restaurants. Great beaches close by. Would stay there anytime.

Nothing, all perfect!

Loved our stay at Cheryls place. She and all of the animals were super friendly and we enjoyed staying there very much. Room was super clean and was equipped with everything you need.

Everything was as expected... no down side.

The room was very cosy and tastefully decorated and the resident pets, 3 cats and a dog were a pleasure to have around. Stony Point Penguin Reserve was only a few minutes away and it was also a great base for exploring the Whale Coast. Very peaceful and quiet.

We have traveled frequently and very few places have offered the serenity of the Cat Nap Cottage. The host and her pets were quite charming. The cats and dog were especially delightful.

There was nothing I did not like.

The hostess was there to meet us in spite of us booking at very short notice. She graciously acceded to a special request for an extra mattress in order to accommodate two singles. Quaint bohemian feel to this lovely cottage.

We only stayed a night amd wish it cpuld have been for longer.

Our host Cheryl and her son Storm were so nice.and down to Earth. We loved them. We wished we could have stayed longer. It was a cozy cottage with walks to the beach amd Penguins in the beautiful Fynbos. The cats and dog were.super friendly as well.

Nothing it was fine

Mrs. Write, the owner, is a considerate host who takes pride in maintaining a well-serviced suite. Welcomed by her distinctive flexed purple hair and a friendly rescue dog, the rooms, adorned with a cat theme, are tastefully decorated and fully equipped. Mrs. Write's kindness extended to offering an extra night in her own home when I hadn't booked an additional night at the time, rather waiting to see what it was like. Wishing her the best, I hope future guests are as kind and appreciative as they should be

I recently spent 3 nights in this lovely accommodation hosted by Cheryl Overview Very pleasant  8.5 ✔️ • Creative, quaint, quirky • Self-contained and spacious • Kitchen well equipped • Bed comfortable with soft pillows • Well located • Perfect to unwind • Near to HPBG, Pringle Bay and Kleinmond ( 10 to 15 mins by car) • Lovely beach in walking distance • Great mountain view from verandah • Lovely, friendly and welcoming host There are, however, areas that need attention and hence my rating. At the hosts invitation for suggestions and feedback, given that it is a newish accommodation offering, these were discussed with her and she has undertaken to implement some of them. Conclusion: Had a lovely relaxing stay and would visit again.Recommended.
